At the Malt Ichiriyama Garden, an old private house built about 120 years ago, we began to harvest seasonal vegetables (bamboo shoots, cucumbers, tea, sweet potatoes, etc.) and to make rural Miyazaki dishes (cold soup, soba). You can experience. Interaction with local people is one of the real pleasures. [Miyazaki's traditional dish “cold soup”] Cold soup is a traditional Miyazaki dish often eaten in hot summers. Cold miso soup using ingredients such as cucumbers, tofu, etc. Eat it in a refrigerator or chill it with ice. "Kappa" is bamboo. In the past, bamboo was used to boil tea during farming, or sake was heated at home by drinking sake. "Kappa Chicken Dishes", which can be eaten in areas rich in bamboo, is a recommended dish. During the hot summer months, when you have no appetite, your mother will make it. There are various ways of making it depending on each home and area, but you can make a basic cold soup using sesame seeds. While holding a mortar and chatteringly, I will rub the gori goori and the girl. Chicken Nanjo is a relatively new dish that was born in Nobeoka City, but now it is the soul food of Miyazaki prefectures. It is offered at many restaurants in Miyazaki, but it is also fun to make it yourself. We make these two items in about 2 hours.
