Hornblower Cruises is a local family run business since 1984. This tour is fantastic for those who would like to explore the two islands of the north in one day. Departure from Bugibba towards the island of Comino where you stop for 1.5 hours to snorkel, swim and take pictures of the crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon then cruise to the island of Gozo where you will stop for 3 hours. On Gozo you can take the mini bus/ coach tour for 5euro per person. Please let us know upon booking whether you would like to do the tour.

We welcome you on Hornblower Cruises a local family run business since 1984. We are not the most modern boat but we have everything you need on-board to make your day with us unforgettable. We have designed our tours and the boat to offer you all what you need for the day – an upper sun deck, deck chairs, slide, shaded area, air conditioned bar/ restaurant, lockers facilities and more. If you are a sun lover then hop up to the upper sun-deck and soak in the sun (free deck-chairs) or if you prefer the shade, take a seat on our spacious shaded main deck. Once in the Blue Lagoon take advantage from our mooring position, away from the crowded beach – Swim, snorkel, sunbathe and slide into the turquoise water of the Blue Lagoon. The cruise also shows you the beauty of Comino island cruising close to the cliffs and into the caves and beaches of the island.

Hop aboard a spacious & comfortable boat at the meeting point in Mellieha. Go past the Comino Tower which was made famous for in the movie "The count of Monte Cristo." Take in how the golden shoreline contrasts with the azure waters as you make your way to the Crystal Lagoon situated on the western side of Comino. See for yourself why this lagoon is known for its incredibly clear and vibrant turquoise waters with a 45-minute stop to swim, snorkel with the included gear, and sunbathe. Next, head to the iconic Blue Lagoon where the sunlight penetrates to the shallow, sandy seabed, creating dazzling shades of blue. Spend an hour plus of free time swimming through the waters, looking at fish with the snorkeling gear, or basking in the sun on the shore. Pass by the island of Gozo & visit an area know as the promising rock (Gebla tal Halfa) for approximately 45 minutes. Finally, end your experience with a photo shop at the Santa Maria Caves and Elephant Rock before returning to the port.

Join us for this one-off cruise around Comino on a traditional & renovated 12m wooden boat. Departing daily from Mgarr at 0900 and Cirkewwa at 0930, our tour will take you to 5 stunning locations. Firstly, we'll stop at the secluded Crystal Lagoon. Snorkeling is highly recommended to see 2 underwater caves, reefs and the P31 diving wreck. Then, we’ll stop for 1 hour at the Blue Lagoon where you can swim in clear blue water! The cruise will then continue on to the charming coast of Gozo where we'll have a short dip at a secluded beach called Tal-Halfa Rock. Lastly, we will visit the tranquil Santa Marija bay. Here you will have time to go ashore and swim in a sandy beach. A popular, not to miss landmark here are Santa Marija Caves where the film ‘Count of Monte Cristo’ was filmed. At the end we will complete the Comino round tour by passing by the Elephant Head rock. Customers are reminded that the tour may be done with another traditional boat if there is less than 12 pax.
