Leaving behind the fertile Lerma Valley, we ascend the Quebrada de Escoipe and continue along the imposing Cuesta del Obispo and Valle Encantado, surrounded by mountains. Cafayate, the land of the sun and wine, is located in the Calchaquí Valley, 180 km from Salta's capital, along one of Northern Argentina's most renowned routes. Departing from Salta, you'll tour the Lerma Valley before entering the Quebrada de las Conchas Natural Reserve. A 90 km road takes you through a narrow valley surrounded by colorful hills, dominated by orange and red. You'll encounter natural geoforms like La Garganta del Diablo, El Amphitheater, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos, La Yesera, and El Sapo. In Cafayate, visit a winery for tastings of the best local wines.
