It’s not every day that you get to paddle your way down a mangrove creek forest that has been there for over 10,000 years. We kayak up close to shipwrecks, relics of a bygone era (weather/wind permitting) and along the way have the opportunity to spot dolphins. It’s a special experience that simply can’t be replicated, which is why Dolphin Sanctuary Kayak Tours is a must-do! Our guides are marine biologists who have experience and knowledge of working with marine mammals and wildlife. Participants don’t need any prior kayaking experience, and we travel at a comfortable pace to accommodate reasonable fitness levels. We hope to see you paddling with us in the Sanctuary soon! Our project has been initiated in 2019 and was created with lots of love and passion. Our mission is to educate about these elusive fragile creatures and their significance, recover threatened pollinators, increase numbers of widespread species, and inspire people to understand them, deliver butterfly conservation, as well as promote awareness and protection actions in our diverse ecosystem. We are dedicated to environmental improvements that foster a sustainable future for generations to come and lead to social and economical improvements of our community. An amazing experience in the rainforest from the aerial tram (unique in Panama) to observe the canopy from above and we will find different species of birds and with little luck sloths and monkeys. After a 600 meters route on the aerial tram we will reach the Observation Tower for panoramic views of the Soberania National Park, the Chagres River, the Panama Canal, and some native Emberá villages. Later we will visit the Sloth Sanctuary where we will observe and learn about life and habits of sloths and the efforts for the conservation of the species.

It brings me immense joy to learn of your interest in elephants and their well-being. They are truly magnificent creatures deserving of our love and care. Allow me to introduce myself, my team, and my Elephant Rehabilitation Center. Owned and managed by a former elephant rider (Mahout), while We was established in 2012, my family's involvement with elephants spans over four generations. Before the center, I worked as an elephant rider at the Amber Palace for nine years, providing riding tours to tourists. However, I yearned for something more meaningful for the elephants and sought to dispel misconceptions about their treatment. Driven by this desire, I founded the Rehabilitation Center to provide insight into the lives of Asian elephants and to counter misconceptions about their mistreatment. We welcome visitors to experience our eco-friendly living conditions firsthand and witness the work we do to give elephants a better life.

On this tour, you will experience Bonaire's Donkey Sanctuary – a habitat created to rescue donkeys needing extra care, food and water. You will interact with the donkeys throughout the drive as they regularly "say hello" and attempt to put their noses through the car window! You can also purchase a few carrots at the sanctuary to feed a few lucky donkeys while on your visit.  At the sanctuary, you will also see a few other things. The Special Care Unit is an area of the sanctuary where we will learn about the services provided to bring a distressed donkey back to health. You can also visit the garden, where you will see local plants, tortoises, and iguanas.  Climbing the watchtower will give you a great view of the entire sanctuary and an excellent photo opportunity. We'll round out our visit with a refreshing drink from the terrace, where you can spot some beautiful pink flamingos over the salt lake. 

Walk the footsteps of the ancient Maya – marvel at the immense structures built without modern day technology – delve into the history and mystery of the Maya while exploring this fascinating site. At the Temple of the Masonry Altar, the solid jade head carving of the Maya sun god was discovered! The whole story of my life is linked to Our Lady of Fátima and the Little Shepherds. Daughter of Portuguese immigrant parents in Brazil, both from the Fátima region, I feel that I carry with me a hereditary responsibility, since my maternal grandfather was a cousin of the Pastorinhos Jacinta and Francisco. This is an experience prepared with a lot of commitment and care so that you can look through the constructions of the Sanctuary of Fátima to what they lead us to contemplate.
