Picking you up by car, we will leave the city lights far behind and go to a location with a magnificent view of the starry sky. Our guide will prepare an open fire for you where we can rest and cook Lappish sausages. As we sit in the crisp air while the fire crackles near us, your guide will tell us interesting facts, myths, stories and answer any questions you have about Finnish life and life in the north. In warm cottage we will show you a video about Northern lights and tell stories about life in Lapland Our guides will be equipped with high quality cameras to take photos of your experience We are happy to offer advice on aurora photography if you bring your own camera

These professional photos will be delivered to your email in 24 to 72 hours after your experience. Unlike others, there is no designated route for this safari and we only drive wherever the clear sky will be. By driving at least 100km to back country even at perfect clear skies, we never end up in light polluted areas for best viewing experience. Since nature is unpredictable, we are going to visit a few spots in order to increase our chances of seeing the Northern Lights. Experience a nice and memorable trip in the dark wilderness by driving a snowmobile. Now you can combine these experiences driving a snowmobile and hunting the Northern Lights. The safari is arranged on the best possible tracks in purpose of seeing Northern Lights. In November or early December the snow level might be too low for this activity. In that case we offer similar tour by ATV. If you want to cancel in advance you can do it for free.

Northern lights is a natural phenomenon and changes constantly the same as the wild nature. Our guides do everything in their power to guide you to northern lights but sometimes it´s not possible due to weather conditions. If you are a photographer you are in good hands as we always try to find good spots for photography. Tripod is needed to photograph Northern lights as you need long shuttertime. We make a short introduction of the tour and how it works. Then buckle up and the hunt for the Northern lights has began for the night. Always small groups of maximum 7 people invites to a genuine experience to remember for a long time.

Lapland is one of the best place in the world to view Aurora Borealis. We take you out and “hunt” for the Aurora ,some places may have cloud cover, while other places can have clear sky. We know this area, we know the weather patterns and we always try to maximize your chance for seeing Aurora. Remember , this depends of solar activity and weather for each time period(we are not magicians and we can not change the weather or guarantee the lights) Where we drive is just wilderness ,totally safe.In some legends Northern Lights are a sign of good news and prosperity and other many stories that you will learn from our guide.
