this tour, you take part in an approximate 2-hour round-trip hike up Little Adam’s Peak accompanied by a qualified guide sharing interesting information about tea plantations, fauna, and flora. This mountain has an elevation of 1141 m above sea level, and gains its name from its similarity of shape to the famous Adam’s Peak, the fifth tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Popular rumors suggest that when construction work commenced on the bridge, “the Great war” began between the empires of Europe and the steel assigned to this site was reallocated to Britain’s War related projects at the battlefront. As a result, the work came to a standstill, leading the locals to build the bridge with stone bricks and cement, but without steel. Then we will stop for the traditional lunch at a local restaurant and lastly, trek to the famous little Adams peak to see dramatic views of the sunset will be a worthy way to finish the experience. Finally, we will drop you to hotel after this memorable experience.
