Our guided kayak adventure is the best of its kind in the area! Our expert guides are Florida Master Naturalists with vast knowledge of the local flora and fauna, as well as the fascinating local history! We get to kayak for a living! Our mangrove glass bottom kayak & snorkel tour begins at the lovely beach from Lac Cai. The Bonaire Mangrove reserve is located in Lac Bay National Park. Visitors can only enter the mangroves in the company of an experienced nature guide. Your stable, glass bottom sit-on-top kayak is equipped with a comfortable backrest seat, a waterproof bag for your personal belongings and, of course, paddles. Off you go, into the calm waters. The glass bottom kayak provides an ideal mode of transport in this beautiful and tranquil environment, as you manoeuvre with ease through the mangrove shallows and tunnels. Gliding by four different species of mangrove trees in crystal-clear waters, paddling past bird habitats and fish spawning areas, you'll learn of the relationship between the plants and the animals. The snorkel location offers a great variety of marine life and is considered by many a must-do while visiting Bonaire!

There is a reason that the Mangrove Tunnels of Lido Key are a must-do experience when visiting the Gulf Coast. We launch from Ted Sperling Nature Park (190 Taft Dr Sarasota FL) which has clean restrooms, a rinsing shower, and shaded picnic tables. Our amazing local guides from Sea Life Kayak Adventures take you on a tour of Little Sarasota Bay, where you may see manatees, dolphins, a variety of birds and sea life…then finish up in the famous mangrove tunnels, a beautiful canopy that meanders thru an island. The tour usually goes around 2 hours, but we aren't on a strict schedule, so please allow for an extra half hour. We are located just minutes from downtown Sarasota, 20 minutes from Siesta Key, and a half hour from Anna Maria Island and Bradenton (add time for traffic during high season. We meet a HALF HOUR before our tours)

Without question, this tour route is the most unique kayak tour in the area and offers guests with the greatest opportunity to spot bucket list wildlife while visiting the Everglades area. This tour launches from a permit only launch site within the 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge. This route requires proper planning and expert knowledge due to the fluctuating tides. No other company is capable or willing to take the time needed for this type of planning. Guests will start their paddle through the salt marsh, a popular feeding zone for numerous long-legged wading birds and river otters. 30 minutes in guests will notice a change in habitat, transitioning into Mangroves, indicating a change in salinity and elevation. This is where you will enter one of the best Mangrove Tunnels in the county. After numerous mangrove tunnels, creeks and ponds and hopefully tons of wildlife guests will then empty out into a manatee safe zone the Faka-union Canal. Year Round expert kayak guides included!

Our guides are certified Advanced Master Naturalists and South Florida natives who have been paddling most of their lives and guiding tours for over 15 years. This tour starts with a sightseeing tour of the island: 1st visit, downtown Coxen Hole, capital city of the Bay Islands and seat of government buildings and banks. The sunken ship is a must-do photo stop; French Harbour is home of the fishing industry and the best seafood restaurants on the island. Two popular optional stops: the Iguana Farm, and the Sloth Hangout. Tell your guide if you want to visit. Punta Gorda village is the heart of the Garifuna community and you'll learn their culture and traditions. In Oakridge we'll board a traditional cayuco boat to reach Jonesville, a community known for its pirate festival, and more important to us, for the mangrove tunnels. Follow your entertaining biologist tour guide through the mangroves of south Naples & Marco Island on this 1.5 – 2 Hour adventure. Look for dolphins, birds, crabs, fish, conch shells & manatees! Along the way, we'll be teaching you about the mangroves, the history of the area & pointing out any wildlife we find. Did you mention cheesy dad jokes included? This is a half-day rental. It is not a guided tour. We are on the bay, not the Gulf. The water is much calmer. Your destination is about a mile away. John's Pass has sandbars, islands, dolphins, manatees, and more. It's a popular place to paddle. Beach your kayak or sup on the sandbar and soak up the sun. Search for the mangrove tunnel. Watch ships sail under the span and work on your tan. You don't have to meet us at a slippery public boat ramp! We have free parking and a private floating dock. Our shop called The BoatDega has snacks, drinks, and restrooms. We can set you up with a cooler and fill it with ice. You also have the option to reserve an Easy Snorkel. Swim in the shallow water by the sandbar and search for seashells.

This is a wonderful alternative to an airboat ride … quiet, peaceful and surreal. It is a leisurely paddle experience with a naturalist guide who throughout the tour will be interpreting and explaining what you are seeing. It is a great learning experience in a very unique part of the Everglades. The Everglades is a vast and varied ecosystem containing the largest mangrove forest in North America. Throughout the forest are brackish "lakes" whose waters are a mix of "sweet" fresh water and salt water. They are refuges and nursery grounds for alligators, herons, egrets, stilts, ducks, wood storks, spoonbills,  otters, orchids and bromeliads and a gamut of fishes. Interconnecting these lakes are narrow, flowing tidal creeks. The mangrove forest grows to the very edge and over the tops of these creeks forming a canopy or a tunnel. The dense canopy regulates moisture and humidity allowing  to thrive. Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.
