Sitka Sea Level Adventures is a local & family-run tour company in Sitka, Alaska. Specializing in whale watching & marine wildlife tours, we explore Sitka Sound & the pristine wilderness around the Tongass National Forest & the volcanic coastline of our island home. The surrounding waters are a marine playground for several whale species, including Humpback, Gray, and Killer Whales, sea lions, sea otters, eagles, puffins & sea birds galore! Our tours are led by skilled Sitkans whose deep-rooted connection to the area means you’ll gain unique local insights into the habits & history of these incredible animals. Start with our experienced crew from Lagos Marina and get a safety briefing before you set sail off the coast of the Algarve. Look for dolphins aboard a rigid inflatable boat in a small group of no more than 18 people for a more personalized experience. Our experienced crew will seek the cetaceans like the Common Dolphin (Delphinus delphis) and Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops Truncatus) and others. As we are talking about wild animals we can not guarantee the success of sighting. (Average sucess rate: 97%) In case of failure in the sighting of dolphins we do not refund.

Exploring the coastline of Walvis Bay, Namibia. I (Captain Matt) along with my crew member take our guests out for an incredible experience on the waters in and around Sitka Sound viewing the breathtaking scenery and enjoying diverse wildlife encounters! You may see many if not all of the following wildlife, Humpback whales, Sea Lions, Sea Otters, Harbor Seals, Ravens, Bald eagles, shearwaters, cormorants, 2 types of puffins, and many other sea birds too numerous to mention. Bears are regularly viewed in the late summer early fall, and occasionally viewed in the spring. As I have had a long career commercial fishing in Southeast Alaska, I give unique insight into the local fishing industry. Both my crew and I will also enlighten you on local history and life in Sitka. To ensure your experience is genuine, my crew is always either one of my family, or a local hire that truly knows Sitka. We live it year round!!

Many Birds find oasis in the Azores Islands to breed and raise chicks, and as on-route refuge.
