Only a short boat ride from Mission beach and you can enjoy the beautiful Dunk Island, just the way a local would. Dunk island has everything from secluded sandy beaches to laze on, fringing reefs to snorkel on and rainforest tracks to hike on. Surrounded by a Jurassic backdrop, dunk island is so close to the mainland, ensuring most of your time is spent on or around the island. Let us showcase it for you. Light snacks and drinks included and a café to visit on the weekends. A maximum group of 10 people on each journey will ensure a more intimate experience on our world Heritage treasure.

Pickup and drop off from either Mission Beach or Tully. We can also arrange a hire car from Cairns for you to drive to the meeting point.

Especially designed to enable overnight transfers to Mission Beach via the Great Barrier Reef or normally as an epic day adventure. Departing from Cairns to Mission has a maximum of 29 people making QuickCoast Snorkel vessel one of the smaller operators. This tour visits the outer reef that is pristine, only just over an hour from the mainland or Dunk Island making it one of the fastest transfers to the Outer Reef. QuickCoast is the only sizable, comfortable catamaran that visits Beaver Reef. After two sessions we visit Dunk Island on our return from the reef for an hour and taken ashore by our skipper for a quick history of the island and shown different types of beach walks available.
