The Salaspils Memorial Ensemble was created in the place where National Socialistic Germany had a police prison and labour correctional camp (from 1941 to 1945). This beautiful memorial site was open in 1967 (Soviet days) as the Soviet Union politics were concentrating on hiding the bad moves of J.Stalin and instead wanted to show to the world the bad stuff done by Nazis. The memorial creates a symbol of the border between life and death with a 100 metre-long concrete wall, on which is written – “Beyond these gates the land groans”. There are also seven concrete sculptures: “Mother”, “The Unbroken”, “The humuliated”, “Protest”, “Red Front”, “Solidarity”,“The Oath”. A beautiful addition to the memorial – indoors exhibition open for visitors to learn from written materials, photos and also video materials where you'll see older people sharing their memories about how they managed to escape or skip the camp. When we arrive at the farm, the first thing we will do is visit the seedbed where everything begins with the love, care and passion that is dedicated to the selected grains to become the plants that will give us their fruits, later we will enter the trails of the farm where the best high-altitude coffee is produced, we will continue in the old mill, where you will move to the industrial environment that has processed and transformed the cherry coffee into what is known as green coffee, we will continue with the roasting, which is the process by which manages to obtain the flavors and aromas. We will end the tour of the farm with a Barista who will pass on their knowledge of the art of obtaining the best cup of coffee.

Rincon Village is the oldest village in Bonaire and rich in history. It is also the most senior community within the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. Initially settled by the Spanish in the early 1500s, Rincon was strategically nestled within a valley to ward off impending danger from pirates and other threats.   In the 17th century, enslaved people were brought to Bonaire and worked tending crops and the salt pans until 1863. Living in Rincon, the slave men would walk a 7-hour journey south for work and then return on weekends to gather supplies at Mangazina di Rei (King’s storehouse) and visit their families.  We will stop at the Cadushi distillery, where you can taste the local cactus liquor made on Bonaire for free. After visiting Cadushi, we will stop at our last stop – a local restaurant called Posada. Here you can try native island food and taste the local flavour. Lazarat is the first neighbor of the ancient city of Gjirokastra and, on the other hand, bordered by the village belt of the Dropull area. The village lies on the slopes of Mali i Gjerë and at the southern end of the province of Labëria, on the right side of the road Gjirokastër – Kakavija, Lazarat has an ancient history, starting from the Illyrian period. According to a legend, there were two brothers; Clay and Color. Argjiri, with his sons, built the castle of Gjirokastra, while Kollori built a smaller castle in the territory of today's Lazarat, where its ruins are still located. In the century. XVI the village resisted the pressure for Islamization and, consequently, a part of the population had moved to Greece, where even today there is a village called Lazarat, whose inhabitants until recently spoke the Albanian language. The Lazarats supported Ali Pasha Tepelena with weapons and fought for the protection of Ioannina from the Ottoman army.
