Nagarjun hike is one of the best hikes inside Kathmandu valley just 7 km from the city center. Nagarjun hill is also known as the Jomacho Peak with a height of 2128m. This hike is about 2-3 hours approximately, you’ll walk 5km after driving 25 mins from Thamel. Hiking to Nagarjun offers breathtaking views of snow-capped Himalayas including Langtang. The cave inside the Raniban forest is said to be made by Nagarjuna to worship Swayambhunath and placed an image of Akshobhya Buddha.
