Tijuca Forest and Botanical Garden


Enjoy close the natural diversity of Rio de Janeiro. Once on the road you will be able to hear the falls as you watch the forest and its rich fauna and flora. During the tour, observe many species of birds, butterflies and even small mammals as coatis (Nasua). Only 25% of the falls are on the Brazilian side, however you will have a privileged panoramic view of the other 75% on the Argentinian side. Depending on the weather and the sunlight, be surprised by the rainbows everywhere. Approach the 950-meter walkway circuit and observe around 275 different falls from the Iguaçu River. On the walkway, enjoy the view of the colossal Devil’s Throat, the cascade which holds the title of largest water flow. Following to a panoramic elevator, watch new angle of the falls. Hiking Ecotour Jaraguá Park – Incredible Rain Forest Landscapes In São Paulo


Outdoor enthusiasts will love hiking along the Atlantic Forest all the way up to São Paulo's highest peak where tourists can boast the most magnificent viewpoint in town in contrast with nature. Going to Jaraguá state park 40 minutes away from downtown São Paulo, you will get a breath of fresh air and appreciate the endless São Paulo from different perspectives amidst one of the last remnants of Atlantic Forest in town. The hike has the main target of reaching two lookouts where tourists have a 360 degree view of São Paulo, in a 1,135 meters altitude, surrounded by an incredible landscape. The trail has 3,600 meters, round trip, is mostly in the shade, ranging from light to medium level of difficulty, only at the end becomes steeper. The mount's summit is about 90 minutes walk away from the park’s main entrance at a slow pace. Animals, particularly small marmosets bounce around the trees, capuchin monkeys, toucans, sloths and many others, can be seen during walks, lush landscape.

Begin your tour on the Argentinian side of the park in the Visitors’ Center, then go to the train station to board on a 10-minute ride towards the Devil’s Throat, the largest water flow of the entire complex. Upon arrival, continue to a 1 km walkway above the river to observe an outstanding view of the calm waters before the furious falls. After the spectacular view on the Devil’s Throat, board back the train to the upper circuit to have a full and close view of many distinct falls such as Dos Hermanas, Chico, Ramirez, Bosseti, among others.
