Walking Tour “The Old Bazaar, Cfake, Dunavat, Ali Pasha Bridge"


We will explore the unknown part of Gjirokaster, the magic of the town that every tourist skips. We start from “Cerciz Topulli Square” and head towards The “Old Bazaar”. It is the first neighborhood outside the castle and lies along beneath the its walls. The characteristic cobblestone the orthodox church and some of the oldest houses are the most beautiful elements. After passing the stream of Nanxa (where they are building a new street), we reach the neighborhood of “Cfaka”. Here we will pass by some first monument category houses, a rebuild mosque and then reach the last neighborhood “Dunavat” where we will find a tekke of the Bektashi Order. It is a beautiful combination of Nature and old houses before arriving to “Ali Pasha Bridge”, a remaining of the aqueduct build more than 200 years ago to bring water to the castle. It takes approximately 3 hrs and you should be prepared to walk on a not so comfortable terrain. So put on your sneakers and join us to this back in time trip.

Getxo And Bizkaia Bridge From Bilbao


During the 19th century the region of Bilbao experiences a huge industralisation development that led to two very different social classes: working class and bankers. Each one laid on river Ibaizabal's West and East banks, and both areas developed their own way. This tour will take you to learn about the Bizkaia bridge, built in late 19th century as a representation of the iron industry in the area, and the link of both river banks. On the left side there lies the medieval village of Portugalete, with steep and narrow streets and Camino de Santiago routes. On the right side, you will discover Getxo, with all her different areas: from majestic Las Arenas and exclusive palaces of Neguri to the charming centuries-old houses of the Old Port in Algorta and the astonishing views from the cliffs of Punta Galea. Lynn Canyon is a short trail that includes a suspension bridge in an old-growth rainforest, stunning waterfalls and amazing pools. Located in the North Shore, a short 30 mins drive from downtown Vancouver. The park is quieter and more diverse than the crowded Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. We'll also stop at Cleveland Dam. In this trip we will explore the unknown part of Gjirokaster, the magic of the town that every tourist skips. Enjoy this half day tour along PEI’s south shore. Departing from the Charlottetown waterfront, you will see old Charlottetown and hear about its important role in the founding of Canada. From the city, we head west into communities of the farmlands and tidy rural homes on our way to Victoria-by-the-Sea. This quaint artisan village holds many treasures, from a pretty range lighthouse to craft shops, the wharf, cafes and a chocolate shop. Leaving Victoria, you will see more of PEI’s red sandstone shore and the Confederation Bridge comes into view. This record-setting structure is an engineering marvel. We stop at the foot of the bridge for an up-close look, and another lighthouse. One more drive on scenic road to the Seacow Head Lighthouse where you can climb to the top for another view or stop in to their cafe for a beverage.
