12 years of experience in Japanese calligraphy, qualified as a calligraphy instructor. Come and get an opportunity to enjoy Kanji drawing with me! You can experience Japanese culture by learning and drawing a Kanji on a T-shirt. Each kanji has a meaning that you are welcome to study. i also offer the possibility of choosing between a single class drawing Japanese on t-shirt, or to choose the drawing kanji on a lantern, or, on the Japanese traditional umbrellas, all are very attractive and fun experience for everyone. I offer something that is a unique experience. I am an English teacher for the Japanese people, so you will get all the instructions in English.

Experience this origami activity for beginners, set in a beautiful environment, surrounded by incredible models and unique displays made by our origami artists based in Japan and the US. Choose from 50 colors of origami paper and fold as many models as you'd like, guided by our tablet software that will take a folder from a square piece of paper to an assortment of animals, flowers, and vehicles in no time, ranging from beginner to intermediate in difficulty. Ask your origami instructor if you need help folding a model. Guests may take photos throughout their experience, purchase rare origami books, and enjoy our origami displays during and after their session. I offer a family-hosted cultural workshop in Tokyo, teaching traditional Japanese crafts with my child. Choose from five hands-on activities: origami, calligraphy, washi dyeing, wagashi (Japanese sweets), and daruma painting. All are beginner-friendly and suitable for kids and adults. As a former elementary school teacher and experienced workshop leader, I’ve taught calligraphy and art in schools and family events. I love creating fun, creative spaces where kids and adults can learn through making. My goal is to offer more than a cultural activity—it’s a chance to connect through creativity. I welcome families who want to enjoy Japanese culture in a relaxed, friendly setting. My child joins the workshop, and children often enjoy the shared experience. Sessions are near Hiroo Station in central Tokyo. You can choose one activity or combine two for a personalized experience. I provide basic English support. Tea ceremony experience with simple kimono in Okinawa


You will experience the Japanese culture Tea Ceremony in the traditional tea room, which is probably not found anywhere else in Okinawa. Our experienced instructor will teach you how to enter through the small entrance of the tea room and introduce each tea utensil. After that, you will move to the room where Ryu-Rei-style, tables and chairs for tea ceremony are set. At the tables, you will enjoy having Japanese and Okinawan sweets before having the bitter tea. Then, you will learn how to treat each tea tool, and finally you will make your own green tea, matcha and taste. Tea Ceremony experience while wearing a simple kimono will surely become a good memory of your trip. Create an art piece that can decorate your room with a gentle light! In this workshop, you will create An Origami lamp and Mizuhiki knot belt. LED light passes through washi paper, gently lighting up the space with a very soft light. It brings pressure to both the eyes and the heart. You will fold and glue several sheets of handmade washi paper in a bellows-like manner. Inserting a small lamp inside the bellows-like washi paper, the ramp shines with gentle and warm light. Additionally, you will create a mizuhiki knot ornament for the belt. At the end of the session, we offer Japanese sweets with "Japanese paper tea" that is not offered elsewhere. Enjoy the beauty and potential of washi paper by making your art piece. Please be informed that this workshop requires detailed skills that may not be suitable for young children. Make the one and only origami kimono in the world in Osaka


The location of the event is very convenient, with both JR and Kintetsu lines running through the area. It is also easily accessible from Umeda and Namba, and can be reached in about 30 minutes. There is a large library in front of the venue, a famous sandwich shop, a Chinese restaurant, and an ice cream shop nearby. You will be able to fully experience the beauty of Japanese yuzen washi paper. Choose your favorite one from a variety of colorful yuzen washi. Weave your own original kimono. Japanese instructors, who are usually active as English conversation teachers, will teach you carefully and slowly, so beginners don't worry. Two types of kimono works are available for you to fold. Folded works can be framed and made into wall art or pasted on a backing paper to make greeting cards. (*Frames are sold separately.)
