After a violent eruption of the Osorno Volcano, basaltic material gave rise to this attraction that runs through the evergreen forest. The Osorno Volcano is part of National Park and its height is 2650 meters. A complete panoramic view of Lake Llanquihue Lake and part of the Andes is possible in a sunny day. The vehicle reaches an altitude of 1,200 meters on asphalted road where there is a cafeteria and ski center. In addition, it is possible to reach 1400 meters by liftchairs. Puerto Varas is considered the tourist capital of southern Chile. The peaceful life of streets, visitors and locals enjoy the beautiful view and its surroundings. If you are used to hiking in mountainous terrain, the ascent will be easy and probably fast, so the surroundings and what you can see from there will be your main gain. On the way we will be able to see the mouth of Rio Pescado and surroundings until we reach Ensenada, a small town from where we will start the ascent to the Osorno Volcano. We will stop at different points of attraction, such as the Crater La Burbuja and the Mirador Los Pumas until we reach the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, located at 1,240 meters of altitude. There we will visit the viewpoints, enjoy the scenery and appreciate a view. we can enjoy a delicious coffee or hot chocolate in the cafeteria of the place and choose to take the chairlift (not included), which allows us to ascend to 1,750 meters above sea level at the Glacier Station.Later we will head towards the Petrohué River Falls sector; Located in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, we will walk along its walkways and observe how the river jumps between large masses of crystallized lava, formed by ancient eruptions of the Osorno Volcano, we will have a spectacular view of the beautiful turquoise color
