Next stop will be at one of the most scenic places in Larnaca – a famous salt lake with a view of Hala Sultan Tekke mosque, which is considered to be fourth the most important Islamic shrine after Mekka, Medina and Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Further, our way will go through Finikoudes promenade in Larnaca and Church of Saint Lazarus, where you can touch holy relics, wash your face with holy water, as well as pray for the cure from various diseases. Our trip will be concluded with the visit of the old part of the capital of Cyprus – Nicosia, the only capital city in the world, which is divided with the ‘Green Line’.

The first stop will be Choirokoitia for a coffee break before continuing to Strovilia check point (passports necessary) to cross the United Nations Green Line. We will arrive at the monastery of St Barnabas which has now been converted into a museum housing icons and other religious artefact. We will also see the tomb of St Barnabas. We continue to the ancient Kingdom of Salamis built in the 12th Century BC and visit the amphitheatre and gymnasium. We arrive in the city of Famagusta with its many Gothic churches and surrounded by Venetian walls. There will be time to visit the Cathedral of St Nikolaos built in 1312 and converted in 1570 into a mosque as well as free time for sightseeing, shopping, and lunch (not included). Finally, we will stop to view the “Ghost Town – Varosi” to see the abandoned houses and hotels which have been closed off behind wire since 1974 and admire the best sandy beaches of the island

We begin our day with a stop at a pottery workshop in Yeroskipou village, where we will see how the potters continue the traditional craft and if you are lucky you might even try your hand at the wheel. Our next stop is at the village square where we will see the unique 5-domed church of St Paraskevi. We will also have a chance to see how the ‘loukoumia’ (Turkish delights) are made. Our next stop is Letymbou village , where we will visit Sophia’s traditional house – original furniture and décor as well as traditional costumes. You will learn how she bakes village bread in the clay oven and makes other local delicacies such as the traditional halloumi cheese. Afterwards we will have a brunch –a special Cypriot breakfast, prepared by Sophia with village style bread and coffee or tea. Next, Saint Neophytos monastery, the “Enkleistra”, an enclosure which was carved out of the mountain in the 12th century by the hermit Neophytos and contains some of the finest Byzantine frescoes.

As family days out go, it doesn't get more rip-roaring than Jolly Roger pirate cruise. Adventurers young and old will have a barrel of laughs sailing the high seas between Paphos harbour to Ricco's Bay. There'll be plenty of activities to join in on, including limbo dancing and snorkelling as well as pirate favourites like face painting and walking the plank. The buccaneering spirit is evident from the moment you set foot on the Jolly Roger – the kids can get their faces painted with obligatory eye patches and scars included. Then it's time to go plunder the seas. There'll be swim stops and plenty of activities. At Ricco's Bay, you can go snorkelling or try limbo dancing and – if you're brave enough – walk the plank. After all those exertions, it'll be time to gorge on a buccaneer's buffet lunch. And then, to cap off your adventure, the crew will put on a swashbuckling performance. A great day out for the whole family – with lots of activities to keep the kids busy.

We then explore Limassol, a vibrant mix of old and new. In the Old Town, near the Old Port, you can stroll through narrow streets, sip Cypriot coffee, and shop for local crafts, sea sponges, and olive oil-based products. Finally, we visit the ancient city of Kourion, perched atop a cliff with breathtaking views. Walk through its famous Greco-Roman amphitheater and experience the grandeur of the Roman era.

Join a small group of nature conservation enthusiasts for a full-day mission to Cyprus’ north-western tip, the wild Akamas Peninsula. Combining fun, adventure and some (optional) calorie-burning through short walks and swimming opportunities (May – October only). This itinerary stresses time outside in the Nature rather than being trapped inside the jeep for the full day.  Please note in the Full Day program enough time will be given for an optional lunch (not included in the price, extra), in the Half Day Program time for lunch is not provided at all.
