ITINERARY: Day 1: Huaraz – Base Mateo 4700 masl – Summit Matthew 5150 masl – Base Camp – Huaraz: Pick up from the lodgings at 2:30 am and departure from Huaraz at 3.00 a.m. Approximately, heading north of Huaraz, arriving at Carhuaz, it deviates to enter the valley of Ulta – Olympic Point, reaching the Base at 4700 meters above sea level. After a brief stop to have breakfast, you leave for the summit of Mateo, passing through the moraine. This summit is 5150 meters high, from where you can have great panoramic view of the snowy peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, such as the Huascarán Sur, Chopicalqui, Contrahierbas, Ulta, among other snowfalls. Return to the Base, to take the transport that will take us to Huaraz.

Mera Peak Climbing trip starts with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The trek leads through the incredibly remote and beautiful Hinku Valley. This unspoiled area of the Everest region boasts of beautiful green terraced fields, dense forest, rushing streams, swinging bridges, and yak pastures with a backdrop of the highest mountains in the world. Sherpa guesthouses, high in the summer pastures, are a welcome place for weary trekkers.

Description With its 6,962 meters of altitude, Aconcagua is the tallest mountain in the Andean Range and the American Continent. That is why it is one of the main goals for climbers from all over the world. Situated in the Argentinean province of Mendoza, very near the border with Chile, this impressive peak belongs to the Aconcagua Provincial Park, in the Arid Andes. The big massif presents two main summits, north and south. At the base of the mountain, there are various valleys, such as Quebrada de los Horcones and Quebrada de las Vacas. On this 12-day expedition, we will take the normal route to the top. Although this route is not very difficult technically, keep in mind that the climb is demanding and requires and excellent physical condition. Below, you can take a look at our itinerary.

Kyajo Ri, the standard ascent via South West Ridge is from base camp at around 4,600 meters to Camp 1 at over 5,300 meters involves a 2-hour hike over a grassy spur and boulders. Camp 1 to Camp 2 involves some technical climbing at French Alpine (AD+) over mixed face slopes up to 55? And the negotiation of a glacier. Camp 2 to the summit at 6,186 meters has been rated at French Alpine Grade D by the previous expedition. It involves a 15-hour return journey over a glacial ridge, with some mixed rock and ice pitches up to 60?. Kyajo Ri is shorter and technically easier than Ama Dablam, but requiring multiple camps above base camp, rather than being a quick hit from a high camp. If you are looking for a more challenging and 'complete' Himalayan experience than might be gained on some of the popular 'trekking' peaks, this could be it. We aim to climb 'Expedition Style' utilizing fixed ropes.

Ama Dablam- (6812m.) means "Mother's necklace"; the long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (Ama) protecting her child, and the hanging glacier is thought of as the Dablam. The traditional double-pendant contains pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women. Island Peak (6,160m.) is also known as Imja Tse Himal, due to its location that towers high amidst magnificent Imja Tse valley. As it appears like an island, the early pioneers and mountaineers tagged the name Island peak. • Island Peak at 6,189 meters & Mt.
