Watch a real Maiko, an apprentice Geisha, perform up close. With only about 40 Maikos left in Kyoto, seeing one is a rare and special experience. To begin the show, the Maiko will perform a traditional dance, which lasts around 5 minutes, the usual length of most Maiko performances. After 2 dances each around 5 minutes, there will be time for a Q&A, photo-taking with the Maiko, and a chance to play a traditional Japanese game together. Please note the following for the show: 1. Kagura troupes from all over Hiroshima Prefecture take turns performing the traditional Hiroshima Kagura performing arts each week.
