Process Explained

Experience making hand made rings by hammering the texture using the japanese traditional style called "Tankin". You will choose your favorite material, thickness, shape and texture. Then, using special hammers and tools by customizing your own ring. It will takes around 90 minutes for the whole process. Staff will carefully explain the process and will help you taking commemorative photo. Highly recommended for a good quality gift and souvenir. The experience will start with the winery tour, during which we will explain our company history and what we produce today and we will explain the wine-making and EVO Oils-making processes and production while showing our machineries and barrels. After that guests will taste 4 of our best wines accompanied by "bruschettas" (Tuscan toasted bread) seasoned with 2 different EVO Oils. We have a large wine-tasting room dedicated, where the guests can sit at tables. It is possible eventually to make a short walk in our vineyards.

Your private cigar factory tour includes a cigar, coffee, tea, water or non-alcoholic beverage and a mamajuana shot. You will experience an educational cigar factory tour which includes an overview of the history of the Dominican cigar industry, the process of growing cigar tobacco (from seed to harvest), how a cigar is made, the proper way to light and smoke a cigar and what to look for in determining the quality of a cigar. You may even take a try at rolling your own cigar. You will also be given some valuable information on coffee and mamajuana during your tour. Both our special mountain roasted coffee and complete bottles of mamajuana are available for sale.

After that the wine-tasting is starting: we have a large wine-tasting room dedicated, where the guests can sit at tables. Mercara Gold Estate is a beautiful 12-acre estate located 8 KM from Madikeri. Whilst coffee was growing here since the 1960s we acquired it in 1998 and began a process of transformation by organising it into a well laid out farm with a wide array coffee, spices and fruit trees. Our vision was to develop Mercara Gold Estate into a fully-integrated unit, we began processing and roasting our coffees on the estate. We follow all time-tested processes with passion to produce our own range of boutique style coffee and well-balanced blends. Starting 19th September 2023, we add a new attraction to our estate, The Mercara Gold Estate – World Coffee Museum! Themed to trace the history of coffee from birth and era to present day, this museum will give visitors the most immersive coffee experience ever!

This tour is to observe the nesting process of sea turtles, accompanied by a local guide who will explain you the process or actions that are taking place in the world of sea turtles during their nesting season (July 1 to October 31 ) One of the most special experiences in liven time. Be advised it is possible we do not get to see a turtle, it is a natural process and we can not bring a turtle from the sea, they must come on their wish. In this tour we will explain the importance of the Chapultepec forest since pre-Hispanic times, it was a sacred place for the Aztec kings (tlatoanis), you will learn about its history from colonial times to the present day as the lungs of the chaotic city of Mexico . The tour begins with a trip to the vineyards to learn about and taste the different types of grapes used to make wine.
