During this day, divers will learn the basic of scuba diving in a pool and after that two tanks dives in the ocean. ITINERARY: Check-in 8:00 AM; Boat departure 9:30 AM; Return to dock 1:00 PM; IMPORTANT: – People with asthma, heart or brain problems/surgeries, high blood pressure, lung lesions, diabetes, epilepsy, or minor surgeries less than 1 year are not allowed to dive unless you bring a medical authorization signed by your physician who specializes in your disease. – Keep in mind you need to rest between 18 – 24 hours after diving before take an airplane – For this activity people must know how to swim, also consider for this activity you need to perform scuba skills in the water if you are not able to do it you can not dive for safety reasons, there is not refund back for these reasons, as the service is provided

Racha Yai and Racha Noi are two of the most popular dive sites around Phuket and this private full-day experience is ideal for first-time and/or uncertified divers. At our UNAWATUNA DIVING CENTRE we have around 16 different Dive Sites with different depth from 6 to 30 m we offer Reef Dives, Rock Dives, Wreck Dives and Night Dives. Hard and soft corals are at the most reef dive sites up to 18 m unfortunately rare. At the reefs you can find a lot of macro staff, many different nudibranchs, different coral fish of the Indian Ocean, Sting Rays on the sandy bottom and at the Unawatuna Dive Site No. 8,"Napoleon Reef" you see mostly also the Napoleon Wrasse. At the deeper Unawatuna Dive Sites, there are mostly rocky areas with deep valleys to explore. Close to the Galle harbor dive sites there are our wreck dive sites on a sandy ground with the famous "Rangoon" Wreck on a depth of 30 m, the SS Oreste on a depth of 22 m and the Galle Ship Wreck with a depth of 18 m. The most soft corals and fish live at the two deeper wrecks. Mostly there are hundreds and thousand of Sweet Lips and different other fish.

Don't have a SCUBA licence? No problem! Join us for our shore Discover SCUBA dive day trip. Discover SCUBA Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. We give a briefing to discuss underwater safety, go through the equipment that you will use during your dive, and learn hand signals to communicate with your guide underwater. No prior experience with SCUBA diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. Please check out the PADI Medical Declaration and if you select yes to any of the options please visit your local doctor/physician prior to your arrival at to our Dive Centre to be cleared medically for SCUBA diving activities.

We are leaving from a private deck for a guided two tank boat dive around the Island Roqueta where is about 15 minutes away from our dive resort. After the first dive we have a break where we including a snack and beverage.

At our Divinguru Nilaveli we have Dive Sites with different depth from 6 to 30 m we offer Reef Dives, Rock Dives, Wreck Dives and Night Dives. At the reefs, you can find over 1,000 species, Eagle Rays, Blue Spotted Stingrays, Turtles, Cuttlefish, Baracuda, Trevally, Soldier Fish, Surgeon Fish, Fusiliers, Lion Fish, Sea Stars and many more. Over 200 species of hard corals and a vast array of beautiful soft corals Sometimes you can also see, mostly at the month from April to June, Whale Sharks, Reef Sharks, and Mantas, but these are really seldom. The shallow dive sites around the Pigeon Island Marine Park are mostly covered by hard and soft corals with a lot of different coral fishes and for sure Black Tip Reef Sharks and turtles in the shallow parts of the coral reef. For Pigeon Island you have to pay additionally an Entrance Fee of 15,- Euros.
