Transportation by bus from El Calafate, Argentina Bus Station to Puerto Natales, Chile bus Station. Start in El Calafate Bus Station, Office n 6 Antoine De Saint Exupery street Nº 87.  End in Avenida España 1455, Puerto Natales.

The Base las Torres trek begins by zigzagging through the Asencio Valley (around 90 minutes). Our efforts will be rewarded with a pristine view of Lake Nordenjköld. Afterwards we will walk under the former glaciers of a snow covered mountain, Monte Almirante Nieto, reaching a height of 2670 m above sea level. The guide will make sure to take breaks. The path eventually slopes down, but can go up and down as much as 200 feet because it winds around the mountain along with the rushing river below. After a couple of hours of trekking we will enjoy a well-deserved rest at the Chilean refuge. It is recommended to buy the entrance to Torres del Paine Park before leaving for the tour.

There is a bilingual guide with the driver who tells passengers in detail about the places that can be seen on the way to their place of accommodation. For example, one of the Strait of Magellan places, the view of the Nao Victoria museum, etc. Make sure to ask if you have any questions.
