Starting in the serene Paul da Serra and descending into the stunning Rabaçal Valley, you'll walk through the lush Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Unlike other tours, we include a visit to the magnificent Risco Waterfall, adding an extra layer of awe to your journey. Plus, our return route takes you through a 500-meter ancient tunnel, ending on the south side of Madeira, providing a unique and memorable conclusion to your adventure.

The Rabaçal 25 Fontes walk is very beautiful for its diversity of plants and green vegetation that we can see, also the famous Levadas of the Madeira Island. Levadas are water channels, and this is one of the most famous of the whole island, because the landscapes and unforgettable sensations will stay in the thoughts of those who do this levada. Starting from Rabaçal, you will find an immense variety of species of flora and fauna madeirenses. The walk through the middle of the Laurissilva forest, through the irrigation canals that reach the lagoon from the 25 Fontes, it is the most beautiful point of the whole walk, with a large waterfall falling into a small lagoon. Rabaçal is an unique and magical place full of waterfalls and fountains. This levada walk is the most famous and beautiful in Madeira. This experience will start with about 3 hours walk including 800 mts through a volcanic rock tunnel leading us to an evergreen forest providing beautiful landscapes. On this hike, we will have the opportunity to admire beautiful waterfalls, natural spring water and its endemic species of fauna and flora. After this great walk, we will have a lunch break (not included) in a Madeiran restaurant at Paúl da Serra, the biggest plateau of the island about 1400 mts high with stunning views. Later, we go downhill through a fantastic off-road expedition, where you will enjoy the fragrance of the exotic eucalyptus forest. Continuing, we go to Cabo Girão with the highest sea cliff of Europe at 580 mts, known by its suspended glass floor viewpoint which offers a spectacular panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean and Câmara de Lobos Bay. About 4 hours and 30 minutes, starting at Paúl da Serra, going down to the Rabaçal valley for the first levada, which takes us to the first waterfall, the Risco waterfall. We descend to find the second levada of the 25 fountains thus providing wonderful and unique views of the Rabaçal valley, finding endemic species of fauna and flora along the way to reach the 25 fountains lagoon. On the way back we passed a tunnel of about 800 meters

The Valley of Rabaçal is one mother nature's greatest masterpieces. Descending from the plateau of Paul da Serra, we arrive at the Rabaçal guesthouse and from there we walk to the Risco waterfall. We then continue downwards towards the levada das 25 Fontes until reaching a small lake. This lake is located at the bottom of a cliff from where 25 natural springs cascade into the small lake. We shall return through a different path passing through a tunnel that carries water to the south side of the island.

We will meet You in your Baku accommodation. The activity will start at 9am. In this full day trip, all the must-see places in the direction of Gabala is in our itinerary: 1st stop is in Shamakhi – the first Capital City of Azerbaijan. We visit the first mosque of all Caucasia – the Juma Mosque. 2nd stop is Nohur lake, another beauty surrounded with forest. Optional paddle boats are available. If You would like to ride, in one boat 4 persons, the price is 5 manats per person. 3rd stop Tufandag Cable Car. It is the the most interesting part of the tour, in where You would think that yes, for this place it worth to come all these way. The 4th stop is in Yeddi Gozel forest waterfall. Please don't expect a Niagara type of waterfall, otherwise You would disappoint. The waterfall called Seven Beauties, due to its 7 levels., which are able to see only 3 levels of it. Then we will drive back to Baku, and drop-off You to your Baku hotel.

From this point we can observe one of the most beautiful valleys of Madeira, the Rabaçal Valley and down to the Forest House of Rabaçal. We operate in full Laurissilva Forest, a World Heritage site. After a few meters of pure beauty we make our first visit to the stunning waterfall of Risco. After a break in the Risco balcony we follow our path. All around you can be dazzled by the green beauty of the forest and the sound of nature, the natural heart of Madeira Island. We can enjoy a variety of plant species, to highlight the Tree Heather, Besom Heath and Madeira Bilberry. Among many species of birds, hopefully we can find the Trocaz Pigeon a unique species of Madeira. In the end we find the 25 Fontes and its beautiful green and fresh lagoon, surrounded by vines and giant ferns.
