Embark on a half-day adventure in Tijuca Forest! Enjoy a small-group experience for personalized attention while exploring waterfalls, hidden caves, city viewpoints and the incredible biodiversity of Tijuca Forest, one of Rio’s iconic natural wonders. Morning pickup is 7:00–7:30 AM year-round. Afternoon pickup: 1:00 PM (May–Oct) or 1:30 PM (Nov–Mar). Times may vary by location; Copacabana is first. Stay alert for the vibrant wildlife that inhabits the park! While exploring, you might catch a glimpse of cuatis, monkeys, toucans, turtles, frogs, and even sloths. Who knows what surprises nature has in store for you? The trails range from easy to moderate, with some elevation to reach caves and waterfalls, so basic physical conditioning is recommended. All waterfalls have crystal-clear natural water from the park’s pristine basins. Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! *Participants should be able to hike short sections with some elevation.

Upon arriving in Ceiba, we will commence with a 25-30 minute hike, which includes a brief river trek. Once we enter the outskirts of the forest, you will climb through rocks and trees to reach the pristine natural pools and waterfalls. Here, you can also swing from a rope or cliff jump. We will spend some time here before proceeding to the next stop, an advanced hike to higher natural pools that lead to exciting natural waterslides. We then return through the same path, with the option to swim part of the way. Throughout this excursion, your certified guide will share important information about the only tropical rainforest in the US Forest System, as well as intriguing facts about Puerto Rico's culture and history, while ensuring you have a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience. After the tour concludes, we will stop at a local restaurant for a late lunch (food cost not included) before returning to San Juan or your initial meeting point.

A residential area close to Waikiki and Ala Moana, Manoa Valley is known for its frequent rain showers. The area receives rain almost every day, making rainbows a common sight. The valley and surrounding mountains are filled with hiking trails, of which Manoa Falls is the most popular. This activity includes a roundtrip shuttle from your Waikiki hotel with a duration of 4 hours (Roundtrip with pickup/drop off). The hike begins over a large footbridge and then crosses a small stream through a grove of Eucalyptus trees. The 0.8 mile trail gradually ascends through a lush rainforest ending at a viewing area set back from the base of the falls. It's a must do attraction! Imagine rappelling down waterfalls in a private rainforest valley on the famed Road to Hana. What's rappelling? An off of the beaten path activity, the exploration of Hacienda Ébano, a Natural Reserve and Ranch. The customer will experience a 1km / 0.6 mile short hike through the rainforest, 2 gorgeous waterfalls with natural pools, also stunning mountains and ocean views. In the trip, the client will have the opportunity to see wildlife such as birds, frogs, and monkeys, also many types of plants, flowers, and trees. The transportation is in a comfortable and safe 4×4 Safari style Truck – the best tool to travel the 10km / 6.2 miles through the big mountains.
