Rhino Walk

The tour brings clients close to nature and give them a sense of participation through the walking safari. It is only in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia where the clients can see the White Rhinos and more so participate in the tracking excursion. The excursion also offer clients photographing moment of the Rhinos at close proximity. This experience can be tailor to meet the clients preference.

This tour accords the clients an opportunity to experience the beauty of nature both from the vehicles and from the walk. This tour is unique because it's the only experiences that offers the clients an opportunity to see the White Rhinos and well as bring clients closer to the Rhino for good photos. It's a combination of two activities, a game drive and short walk tracking the rhinos.

This experience takes early with your pickup from your respective Lodge and Hotel, and your transfer to the park, which takes 15-20 minutes. Our pickup starts as early as possible to avoid walking in the heat, which can build up quickly. We advise to wear suitable walking shoes, hats and bush friendly attire. Escort game ranger will be picked to accompany the group and take a short drive to where we will start the walk, you will be provided with a bottle of mineral water for your walk whilst listening to your guide giving a full safety briefing on what you expect to see and the Do's and Don't's whilst walking. – Time For The Walking Safari. The walk last for approximately 3 hours. However a lot of the time will be spent quietly observing the wild and discussion with the guide. You will be walking at a leisurely pace set by your yourselves and you can stop as frequently as you wish, to ask questions and discuss any aspect that particularly interests you. MINIMUM AGE IS 12 YEARS!

This safari tour is designed for traveler whose interest is to see the Rhinos,because they have seen all the animals in their previous safari tours and they have a short time. You be picked from your respective lodge or hotel in a 4×4 open safari vehicle to the starting point of your walk where you will be accompanied by armed game ranger and the professional safari guide who will safe brief you and explains what you are expected to see.

Transfer from the hotel to the Mosi-oa-tunya National park for a half day walk preceded by a safety talk. Clients are accompanied by an armed local expert guide, and will track rhino as well as other species of game in the park. Refreshments are served prior to returning to the hotel

Get 10 meters close to the white rhinos, only with Dewclaw. This short walk is accompanied by game rangers for, this system of two people leading the walk, maintaining the highest possible levels of safety. You will enter the park using a 4X4 game viewer and at certain point you will be requested to get off the vehicle and take a short walk towards the white rhinos.

The tour combines a game drive and a walking safari. It allows the client to be very intimate with nature and draws his/her close to the rhino for better photographing.

The Pick-up and transfer – The Walking Safari Experience starts early with your collection from your Lodge or Hotel, and your transfer to the Park, which takes approximately 15-20mins. The early start is necessary to avoid walking in the heat, which can build up very quickly. It is important you have suitable walking shoes, hats and bush friendly attire. On arrival at the Park Gate we will organize an escort Scout to accompany the group and take a short drive to where we will start the Walk. The Guide will find the White Rhino and track as much of the large game as possible. Cold water is supplied on the Walk but half way through the Guide will stop at a suitable spot for refreshments, which consists of Homemade iced lemon juice with cake and cookies to recharge your energy levels.

This is a combo. Clients will have two tours, a game drive and a walking safari. Clients be picked from their lodging place either in the morning or afternoon as they prefer. Snacks and drinks are included in this package.

The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is a privately-owned game reserve covering 1600 hectares. With plenty of game, this is the perfect setting for admiring nature just an hour’s drive outside of Johannesburg. Visitors can expect to view numerous species including lion, white rhino, wild dog, hippo, crocodile, cheetah and numerous antelope species inside an open game drive vehicle.
