In this activity you will be able to visit two different wineries, small and medium in size, to find out the contrasts between the different forms of wine production. We will also visit the medieval town of Laguardia, where time seems to have stopped, to contemplate a panoramic view of the entire region. You don't need to be a wine expert to enjoy this activity! You just need the desire to enjoy an unforgettable day in an incredible atmosphere."

Visit Marques de Riscal and Ysios, the two most prestigious wineries that produce excellent wines but also boast world-renowned architecture. In this tour you will be able to discover the magnificence of Rioja through a perfect fusion of vineyards, excellent wines and renowned architects such as Franck Gehry or Santiago Calatrava. Visit Laguardia and take the best pictures form our secret spots and enjoy local tapas for lunch. In case the Ysios winery was closed for visits (sometimes it happens as it´s a very special winery) we will upgrade you for a wine tasting in Carlos San Pedro winery with the best views over the Ysios winery and the Sierra Cantabria mountains. You will taste 4 wines paired with 3 local appetisers. Stroll through narrow streets, surrounded by ancient architecture, and explore one of these wineries to learn about the fascinating process of carbonic maceration, a unique technique that creates vibrant, fruity wines. You’ll also enjoy a tasting of their finest creations. At the end of the visit, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch in this charming village before returning (lunch not included)

And gastronomy because we started our project in a Restaurant in the basque country called Zaldiarán where the new concept of basque gastronomy was created. We will take you to 2 different boutique wineries in order to learn everything about the traditional and modern styles Riojas. At one of the wineries we will enjoy a wonderful picnic-style lunch prepared for us surrounded by vines and olive trees! You will visit the medieval village of Laguardia, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages of Spain, famous for its charm and underground cellars!
