Our Old Frascati Farmhouse & tasting room embodies the atmosphere of the frascette with local snacks and wines in the middle of a Roman vineyard. You'll be met at the vineyard with snacks and a house wine ready to start the tour immediately. First, you'll have a walking tour of the vines to see stunning views of the Roman countryside. At the farmhouse, you will try 3 amazing local wines from the winery next door along with local snacks and salumi. At the end, you'll also have coffee and a local liquor to finish your tasting. The location of our farmhouse makes it accessible directly from the train station without the need for other transportation. Because we are reachable by train (and a 5-minute walk) it's the most sustainable wine tour in the area. On Sundays it will be necessary to come by car as there is a very limited train schedule on this day.

Our 20 mile (32 km) Bridges bike tour follows the picturesque shores of the Firth Of Forth. We pass through the ancient village of Cramond, with it's rich 3000 year history dating back to Romans and iron age. A ride through a rural country estate with its very own stately home, a castle, plenty of sheep, and maybe even a Highland Cow! We visit the pictuesque Royal Burgh of South Queensferry for coffee and cake, topped off with a cycle over the Forth Road Bridge with spectacular views of this UNESCO world heritage site and beyond. Through this visit to the brewery you will be able to live a unique experience along the entire production chain that brings beer from the earth to the glass. In fact, we will visit the barley and hops plantations, and then move inside the brewery where all the steps from cooking to bottling will be described accurately, all accompanied by the tasting of our beers.

A word about the experience: Upon arrival there will be small snacks and a drinks provided, then herbs and vegetables will be collected from the gardens. Aprons will be put on and an entire meal will be prepared together. In three hours, an appetizer will be made and then the pasta, made traditionally with wholemeal flour and semolina eggs or water, entirely by hand with the help of a rolling pin. Stuffed ravioli and fettuccine or lasagna and capellini or strozzapreti, can be prepared on request alongside gnocchi. Different sauces for the pasta will be made too! A second vegetable-based dish will be put together and dessert will conclude the afternoon.
