You will be picked up by our driver early in the morning and brought to the airport of Zanzibar. From here you will fly to the airstrip in Selous, where you will arrive a short flight after. The wildlife in Selous is waiting for you! Once you arrive you will be awaited by our driver guide. From this moment your safari adventure will start! Don´t forget to pack your camera, as you will be surrounded by wildlife, with the National Park having one of the best wildlife densities in Tanzania!! During lunch time you will experience an authentic bush lunch in the middle of the National Park. Enjoy the second half of your game drive before you are brought back to the airstrip of Selous Game Reserve. From here you will fly back to Zanzibar, from where our driver will be waiting for you to bring you back to your hotel.

In the morning, you will start your safari in Zanzibar, flying in a light aircraft to the Selous, one of Africa’s most significant game reserves. On arrival at Mtemere airstrip, you will be met by our driver guide for greetings and a briefing about your day trip tour plan. You will start a safari game drive, sightseeing the game in the park, driving through the savannah and along the river and lakes. Game drives are the best way to explore giant games like elephants, buffaloes and predators like lions. In addition, the Selous is home to the largest population of wild dogs in Africa, which is a real highlight if you are lucky enough to encounter a pack. At around noontime, your guide will stop for a lunch buffet in a stunning location with a clear park view of the park. Then, you will continue to explore the African bushes before returning to the airstrip at around 18h00 for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar.

We Depart in Zanzibar at 0800am or Dar es Salaam at 0820am on a shared charter plane for an hour flight to an Airstrip in Selous Game Reserve upon arrival proceed with the game drive to enjoy what nature will provide! You will see elephants, Lions, Elands, Leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, Wild-dogs, Lesser Kudu, hippos and crocodiles live in this immense sanctuary, which measures 50,000 sq. km, practically undisturbed by human impact.
