The Aruba Ostrich Farm welcomes you to come and meet its 80- count flock of the largest living species in the world. After visiting the Ostrich Farm, you will then proceed to a Donkey Sanctuary as well as Phillip's Animal Garden. The tour will conclude with Hotel drop-off. We will visit the Old Shrine, The Chapel of the Tepeyac hill, that was build to commemorate the three appearances of our lady of Guadalupe upon Juan Diego, where we can find six different mural paintings of Fernando Leal titled: “The Guadalupana legend”. Afterwards we will visit the new shrine to admire the piece of cloth of Juan Diego where our lady of Guadalupe imprinted her image. We will havetime to listen to mass and to do some shopping.


Donkey Sanctuary Tour with a Local Guide


On this tour, you will experience Bonaire's Donkey Sanctuary – a habitat created to rescue donkeys needing extra care, food and water. You will interact with the donkeys throughout the drive as they regularly "say hello" and attempt to put their noses through the car window! You can also purchase a few carrots at the sanctuary to feed a few lucky donkeys while on your visit.  At the sanctuary, you will also see a few other things. The Special Care Unit is an area of the sanctuary where we will learn about the services provided to bring a distressed donkey back to health. You can also visit the garden, where you will see local plants, tortoises, and iguanas.  Climbing the watchtower will give you a great view of the entire sanctuary and an excellent photo opportunity. We'll round out our visit with a refreshing drink from the terrace, where you can spot some beautiful pink flamingos over the salt lake.
