Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. An air-conditioned bus will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the Marina of Puerto del Carmen where you will board the Biosfera Jet. Here you will start your journey to Lobos Island along the dolphin route where different species of marine mammals such as the common dolphin, spotted dolphin, etc. Although we do not guarantee 100% sightings every day, our company has a high success rate. After 1.5 hours we will disembark at Lobos Island where we will have the opportunity to do different activities on our own in the Natural Park, visit the small fishing village with its spectacular natural spa, visitor centre with information about the flora and fauna of the island or simply relax on the paradisiacal beach of La Concha.
