Shared Sailing

Enjoy a 2-hour sunset cruise aboard a beautiful luxury sailing boat. Admire the sights illuminated at night, and see the wonderful sunset contrasting with Cabo San Lucas amazing waters. This is a family-friendly tour and includes snacks and beverages.

You will be sailing in a Sydney to Hobart race maxi – really sailing – and on one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. The three hours takes in most of Hobart's large sheltered harbour. See Hobart at its best, with stunning views of the city, Mt. Wellington and the surrounding forests and hills that make up this most picturesque of cities. You might even see penguins, dolphins or seals (regular visitors), and sometimes even whales and orca. Grind the winches, take a turn on the helm or relax and enjoy the experience. Delicious local treats will be served for morning or afternoon tea (included in the price,) and local wines and beer are available at regular bar prices. The skipper and crew are all experienced professionals with plenty of stories of the high seas and a wealth of local knowledge to share.

You will have a profesional Skipper on board giving you a guided Tour with all the explanations of the main features of the Barcelona skyline and the ones in the Port of Barcelona. Drinks and snacks are offered on board and are included in the price.

I have been living aboard full time for the past 12 years, sailing the Vancouver waterways for over 45 years. I have raced competitively for 20 of those, have extensive sailing and local knowledge, 12 years experience volunteering as a Coxswain with the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, have my Marine Advance First Aid Certificate and 4 other transport Canada certifications. I have a passion for being on the water and love to share the experience with travelers from around the world.

It is a totally new and interesting experience. You get a different view of the city, you can watch the sunset, take great photos, and learn how to sail. It also includes a historical review of the Río de la Plata, the widest river in the world. Watching the sunset, relaxing on the river, sharing a chat, feeling the wind and the waves, learning a new activity, enjoying a snack, make everything a new and unforgettable experience.

Explore the pristine Northern coast of Ambergris Caye, with amazing blue waters and beautiful views along the way. While we start our morning sail, we serve you fresh fruit and homemade Belizean meat-pies. In the end of 2015 Mexico Rocks became a part of the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, to protect its rich marine life and precious corals. We do our first stop for snorkeling there and then continue to our favorite spot – a shallow area close by the reef, that is just like a natural pool (great for non-swimmers as well)! Here we make a break to relax in the shallow warm water, while the crew prepares our famous Belizean buffet on-board. Traditional dishes like stewed chicken and rice and beans with our Captain’s secret recipe BBQ fish! After lunch we return South doing a second snorkel stop at Tres Cocos. Open bar with local rum, vodka, gin, soft drinks and juices is included. Try the specials, rum punch and "panty rippers"!

Starting from the Old Port of Cannes, I suggest you discover the coastline by sailing to Sainte-Marguerite Island in the Lérins archipelago. I would share my passion for sailing, with my fully restored vintage sailboat, an 8 m Jeanneau Sangria. For lunchtime, there will be an anchor picnic, including anchovy and tzatziki (homemade), with a basket of vegetables and rosé wine. Then you will have the opportunity to sail in the Bay of Cannes towards the Pointe de l'Aiguille in Théoule-sur-Mer. I will share my sailing experience and you can participate in the boat maneuvers for adventure lovers. You can also swim in the crystal clear waters, discover the seabed with diving masks and enjoy this friendly sailboat. Swimming towels and diving masks will be included.

Experience Polynesian sailing on a Sunset. Entirely built in Moorea, Vaapiti is the ideal vessel for a unique adventure. During the outing, I'll be sharing my knowledge of the techniques and legends of Polynesian sailors. We'll mainly be sailing and we'll be able to get you involved. Several stops are planned (turtle zone, stingray and shark spot, underwater tiki, secret spot…). The excursion ends facing the Sunset. With a fruit platter, cocktail and homemade local preparations.

Aboard my va'a, I'll share with you my passion for traditional sailing. We'll set off in search of the wind to enjoy the sensations of gliding and adventure. You'll be able to take part in the manoeuvres and steer the Va'a. I'll share with you the stories of Polynesian sailors, their legends and my experiences at sea with traditional pirogues. We'll have the chance to stop off at some of the most beautiful spots in Moorea's lagoon. While enjoying a unique setting to savour the many local fruits and snacks prepared for the outing. I'd like to share with you the feeling of freedom I get when I take to the sea with Vaapiti!

Be sure to watch for summer cruise ships in port, sailing between Quebec City – through the St Lawrence Sea Way to Green Bay Wisconsin on Lake Superior. Our final leg along the Toronto, shoreline, will include, our urban beaches of Sugar and HTO Park, waterfront condominium and hotels, and Toronto’s marine fire station and the CN Tower.
