These tours are from 2 person self guided inflatable kayaks.These are what we at Red Canyon call Double Duckies or for some people Divorce Duckies lol!This lets you experience the excitement of a kayak but with a bit more stability.If you’re interested in intermediate kayaking you’re and looking for excitement then this maybe the way to go.Before we take off for this exciting adventure you’ll be given safety instructions and the equipment needed for this 7 mile adventure.The Shoshone River is filled with stunning scenery and cool rock formations as well as an abundant amount of wildlife.We ask our little “Duckies” to stay close to the leader in either a raft or kayak and you’ll be given the proper information to go through rapids such as”Colters Falls” and “Little Big Drop” before you go through.Safety always comes first at Red Canyon so we ask our guests to please listen to the instructions of the guides.

You will learn about Rocky Mountain bighorns at the National Bighorn Sheep Center in Dubois, Wyoming. After a restaurant lunch, you will discover outstanding Native American petroglyphs, sacred to the Eastern Shoshone Indians of the Wind River Valley.
