Originally living in the highlands, some Hmong have migrated to the lowlands with the support of the Lao government due to inadequate infrastructure, employment, and educational opportunities. The village has a small museum built by the villagers that offers a glimpse into the culture and traditions of the Hmong people, who still cherish their traditional way of life in the highlands.
