You will have the opportunity to personally buy local products, chosen according to the season, which will allow you to make some of the dishes of the tradition of Palermo. Together with your personal chef, you will feel Sicilian food expert for a moment! You will be introduced to the flavors of Sicily, learning how to choose and distinguish fresh ingredients, that you will use during your cooking class. During you cooking class in Palermo, you will prepare a 3 course meal and you will end by savoring the dishes that you have prepared with your own hands. The Sicilian Pantry is a family run cookery school located in the heart of the Historical centre of Palermo. We offer daily market tours & cookery lessons of traditional Sicilian dishes. We meet in the morning at one of Palermo’s oldest markets, shop around for any items we will need for the lesson and then stroll to the air-conditioned school kitchen where we prepare a 4 course Sicilian meal, learning the techniques & tricks needed to recreate it when you return home. After the lesson we can sit down together to enjoy our efforts along with a selection of Sicilian wines rounded off with some homemade liqueurs & coffee We believe that the true expression of Sicilian cuisine comes from the quality of its fresh seasonal produce so we strive to always ensure that we have the best of what Sicily has to offer in order to share this with our guests This is an entertaining and informative day out, recommended for cooks of all levels We meet at 10:00 & lessons typically end around 14:30

The tour will start from Porta Messina at 10:00 pm wih our Chef. Visit of Taormina Market and selection of typical sicilian food. After reaching the restaurant you will make home-made pasta and many other dishes of the Sicilian culinary tradition. Once finished the course, all participants will sit at a table for tasting the prepared dishes and drink a local sicilian wine.

Cook a 3-course Sicilian meal at a Restaurant in central Taormina, and then savor the dishes with samples of local wine! The 4-hour cooking class is led by a professional local chef, and includes a visit to Taormina open market to select the freshest ingredients of the day. Learn about Sicily’s varied, fresh and fragrant cuisine that follows the seasons, and learn about classic Sicilian dishes like ‘Parmigiana di melanzane.’

This Palermo cooking class is not only a fun and valuable cooking experience but also a fascinating journey through Sicilian food and culture. Taking place in one of the most beautiful Palermo historic building, meet your Sicilian cook in the morning in order to go together to buy food in a local market. Once the shopping is done, it is time to go home and start cooking together. Prepare 4 dishes (a complete truly Sicilian menu) while drinking local Sicilian wines and discovering more about this beautiful region.

You will find yourself immersed in the culture and colors of Sicily, if you are interested I will take you to a unique and special greengrocer to choose with you the products that we will then use to cook our menu. I will explain the various uses of each ingredient to create more dishes and the different seasonal variations. If you prefer to find the ingredients on site, you just have to choose a menu to cook and I will take care of everything. I will welcome you into my home for a unique experience during which you will savor the aromas and flavors of authentic Sicily If you would like to learn how to cook a particular dish, I am ready to accommodate your requests. Mine is a typically Sicilian and generally Italian cuisine, with local and top quality products, the result of your experience will be in the dish that you have cooked yourself. The best souvenir that you will take with you home to amaze your friends with new flavors!

From appetizers to desserts it will be fun. We will prepare everything together and we will taste the fruit of our work while admiring the splendid sunsets and singing or listening to excellent music. On request vegetarian, fish, vegan cuisine. The recipes are rigorously handcrafted from the Sicilian tradition and can be easily replicated in your home. You will take home a dear memory of our Sicily also in photographic format, in fact I will give you a snapshot of our experience as a gift.

It is the chance to know more about the culture and history in Sicily, because Patrizia is a guide as well, and a passionate woman on history and locale traditions. Her doughter Giuliana Is a Chef who combines the Sicilian culinary tradition with other influences, since She has been travelling around the world. Guests will prepare a menu, sourrended by Nature and an incredibile landscape and view on the Sea, so they have lunch also looking at the mediterranean sea and the Aeolian Isles. The course is for that a complete sensorial experience, a perfect combination between good food and wines, nature, view, sea, olive trees, history and local traditions. What would you desire more?

At 11.30 am there is a break to visit the bell tower of Messina, which is just a 7-minute walk away. Participants, on their return will find lunch consisting of the dishes they prepare
