This one-day tour from Edinburgh takes you sightseeing at the impressive Kelpies, to beautiful Loch Lomond, the magnificent Trossachs National Park and the land of Scottish legends William Wallace and Rob Roy. Before a fascinating stop at Stirling Castle to experience the history and stories of Scottish royalty. This is the undisputed tour for history lovers. We journey through Scottish history stopping at Dunfermline Abbey, Stirling Castle and finally Rosslyn Chapel and tell you the stories of these incredible places and 'Braveheart', 'William Wallace', 'Robert the Bruce' and the 'Da Vinci Code' along the way.

On this incredible tour, we explore the beautiful Scottish Highlands seeing castles, lochs, sculptures and perhaps some ‘Hairy Coos’ along the way. Departing the historic Royal Mile on an air-conditioned bus we head towards the iconic Kelpies, where you can take a close up look at these magnificent sculptures. We make our way towards Balloch, situated to the south of Loch Lomond’s Bonnie Banks. Here you can explore and take an optional hour-long boat cruise on the loch. Departing Loch Lomond we head towards the quaint village of Aberfoyle before exploring the picturesque Duke's Pass. Passing through Callander we make our way to Stirling where you can either take a stroll around the city centre or visit the historic Stirling Castle. Heading back we stop to catch a glimpse of the famous 3 bridges that span the River Forth before returning to Edinburgh *Boat cruise and entry to Stirling Castle are paid for on the day and are not included in the price of the tour.

My dog Molly and I were amazed at the number of tourists who arrived at the Battlefield, spent less than 10 minutes at the site of Scotland's greatest battle, then departed Bannockburn. Molly taught me to welcome visitors, give a warm hug, and say thank you for taking the time to remember our great heroes such as Robert the Bruce and James Douglas, and all those who fought, died, and survived at Bannockburn. Our outdoor tour on the Battlefield, covers the Wars of Independence, the Battle, and the aftermath up to the current day. We shall entertain you with stories of the main characters and the small folk who influenced the battle. We also do a Stirling Bridge tour, the scene of William Wallace’s greatest victory.
