You will not only learn how to make mochi, but you will learn the cultural back ground of mochi in Japan. This is a highly interactive course that can be enjoyed by any age. In this 2 hour course, we will be making and taste 5 kinds of mochi dishes made from scratch. You'll get a hands-on experience of touching mochi and shaping it into various desserts. At the end of the course, you will be able to taste the Mochi with green tea or coffee. (Other fruit will be used in case strawberries are unavailable). A downloadable recipe will be provided so that you can repeat at home. This experience is gluten free and vegan option is available.

When you are finished you will be able to taste your creations with a bowl of matcha that you will learn how to make yourself. It takes about 20 minutes for each woman to dress. There is also a luxurious type of kimono called furisode. English, Japanese, and Chinese language support is available. Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Asakusa Station. Please only enter the store if you are a designated customer. Please arrive at the studio on your booked time or 5 minutes earlier. If you visit on a cold day, please wear a U-neck undergarment (top and bottoms, Heattech, etc.).
