You will be safely brought deep into the 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge for a two-hour interpretive tour of the area led by a Florida Master Naturalist. Depending on the season, you can expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as, numerous species of fish and shore birds. You will visit an uninhabited barrier island where you can collect shells, sand dollars and other treasures! Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

Our Marco Island Sightseeing and Shelling Tour departs from the Goodland Boat Park, in Goodland, FL. On our two hour ecotour you will experience one of the most popular adventures we are known for, we will take you for an exciting and scenic cruise through the Ten Thousand Islands, where our Captains and Guides will provide information about the ecology of this unique ecosystem. After cruising through the mangrove islands, we will stop on a private beach in search of the most exotic tropical sea shells that the Gulf coast is known for. This is a very informational adventure that will keep small children and adults engaged the whole time. Travel through a thousand years of history, meeting medieval knights, body snatchers, Charles Dickens, an eighteenth century ghost, and William Wallace – aka Braveheart (and learn how he was in no fit state to shout "Freeeedoooommmm!" whilst being executed!) On our walking tour we'll visit the areas around Smithfield, for centuries London's site of both animal and human slaughter. We'll learn about how the city disposed of the tens of thousands of Black Death corpses in the fourteenth century, the execution methods used in the Middle Ages, and how the area became a notorious slum which Dickens used as the setting for Oliver Twist. The walking tour begins outside Barbican Station, ends near to Farringdon Station, and will take around two hours. Total distance is about two miles. Ticket sales will be limited to fifteen attendees, to ensure maximum enjoyment for everybody on the tour.

This kayaking tour will give you the opportunity to kayak among a permanent seal colony at the tip of the Pelican Point Peninsula about 35 km outside of Walvis Bay.
