Searching for an affordable and fun way to get out to the famous Salt Lick BBQ and two (2) beautiful Texas Hill Country wineries? Look no further! This Hill Country BBQ and Wine Shuttle is great for solo travelers, couples, and small groups. The shuttle departs from the Austin Visitor Center at 10:30AM and heads out to the Driftwood area of the Texas Hill Country approx. 35-45 minutes southwest of Austin. Enjoy comfortable transportation in a Mercedes Sprinter van with a friendly local guide. Spend 45-50 minutes at each stop. Food/drinks not included in the shuttle price; guests pay directly at the restaurant and wineries.

Our Austin/Hill Country Wine Shuttle takes you on a journey to see the beautiful variety Austin has to offer, both geographically and of course, in our amazing wine. Ride comfortably in our luxury Mercedes Sprinter van with a knowledgeable and friendly local guide. Cruise through the scenic Texas Hill Country and stop at two (2) different award-winning wineries for tastings, then finish up back in Austin proper at your final winery in the St. Elmo Arts District. We’ll take care of the reservations at the wineries, you take care of the tastings. We can lead you to our wineries, but we can't make you drink. Tastings at any of our wineries is completely optional but highly recommended. Florvino winemakers leave the cellars to spend time with you, share their story and the basics of how flower wine is crafted. The Meet the Winemaker show is inspirational, motivational, entertaining and educational. During the 90 minute journey you get to taste 6 different flower wines and discover how our winemakers learned their craft. We will take you via video and animation into the fields, where we harvest flower nectar and flower petals, and into the wine cellar where we craft our delicious flower wines. Let us bring the winery to you. Get ready to sip, laugh, learn and be truly inspired. Our small group wine tours allow for our guests to have a more one on one experience while exploring the Hill Country wine region (Texas' best kept secret!). You will have a fun time exploring the discovering Central Texas and its vineyards on a winery tour from Waco. You will head to a few boutique wineries for guided tours of the facilities and wine tastings. For lunch, enjoy a delicious charcuterie meal at a pre-arranged location so that you can fuel up for your next tastings.

Before your wine tasting, a private driver and Animal Sanctuary Animal Specialist will shuttle you from the Grapetown Vineyard and Farm Tasting Room via your Brand New Zebra Tram on a behind the scenes tour of your exotic wildlife and ranch operations. You will see and possibly feed exotic animals like Kangaroos, Camels, Zebras, Alpacas, Bison and Longhorn! We also raise Boer Goats, Ponies, Nigerian Dwarf, African Pygmy and Saanen Dairy Goats, and even some Donkeys. The Lux Drift wine tour is approximately 4-6 hrs from pick up to drop off. You will tour 3 great Driftwood/Dripping Springs wineries where you will enjoy different wines either by bottle service or if allowed a table side tasting, and stop for Lunch at Salt Lick BBQ, in one of our LUXurious Limousine style vehicles. ***It is important to note that this is a SHARED GROUP TOUR. Each visit includes a tasting of 5 unique Texas wines. After your tasting you'll meet the owners, get a glass of your favorite wine and tour the vineyard.
