(Small groups tours are defined as 24 passengers or less for each vehicle used. Listed are some of the wineries we visit and we have close relationships with 40 local Barossa Cellar Doors. A good day is 4 Wineries and Lunch that is Included. Wineries are selected in advance by our driver on all shared tours. We will strive to give you the best Barossa Experience. Looking to experience breathtaking scenery of the amazing wine region of Barossa Valley with a local viewpoint? CP Tours and Charters is ready to serve your every need where we will pick you up from your Hotel / Motel location at 8:30am and return at 5pm approx. Tours include standard wine tasting fees from wineries and wine tasting and lunch at Lamberts Estate Winery. Non standard wine tasting experiences are extra and not included in package. Private charters have the options of customer selected lunch venues and cellar door options. Arrive back in Adelaide approx. 5pm.

Southern Barossa – 10 Minute Scenic Flight Departing Hoffnungsthal Valley, heading over Rowland Flat taking in the views of Jacob’s Creek Winery’s “tank farm”. Some of these tanks hold up to 1.4 million litres of WINE! From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch near Cockatoo Valley and over the Whispering Wall.

Delight your senses on your first stop at Pindarie Wines with a wine tasting and morning tea, then enjoy some free time to leisurely explore the charming main street of Tanunda with a stop at the Mengler Hill Lookout after to capture breathtaking views. Indulge in the your second wine tasting of the day, followed by a gourmet lunch at Lambert Estate before stopping at Chateau Tanunda for a brief guided walk around the grounds and a wine tasting. Conclude your journey with a shop visit at Maggie Beer's Farm Shop. Throughout the day, your knowledgeable and friendly guide will share some history of the region with your group.

This tour will discover new boutique cellar doors & be introduced to the local people behind the famous Barossa Brand. I offer an unrushed experience with local history both old and new & insight into the viticulture of the region. Three things make for a memorable tour. During this 2-hour activity, you will have a good time kayaking. Our kayaks are specially selected for a smooth and stable kayaking experience and they're great for beginners. We offer both single and double kayaks. Doubles are suitable for up to 2 adults and 1 child.All equipment is provided and conveniently set up on the shore ready to go.

After departing from our home base in the peaceful Hoffnungsthal Valley, it's time to relax and take in the gorgeous sights and surrounds as you enjoy the beautiful scenic helicopter flight northeast over Rowland Flat, home of Jacob’s Creek Winery, where some of Australia’s largest wine tanks are located. Spend some time marveling over the fact that these tanks hold up to 1.4 million litres of WINE before you get a stunning bird’s eye view of the southern end of the Barossa. Just sit back and enjoy the flight as we take you past the quaint town of Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall following up stream to the South Para Reservoirs before returning to our base via Williamstown, capturing a perfect view of the idyllic southern Barossa Ranges.

Start your full day with a visit to Mt Lofty Lookout (Weather Permitting) and a short stop for coffee at Beerenberg Farm. From there you will have free time exploring Hahndorf, Adelaide's oldest German settlement where you will have some free time to explore the many shops and galleries full of local arts, crafts and produce. Then travel though the townships of Adelaide Hills to Barossa stopping at places of interest along the way. A full day tour takes you to South Australia's premium wine region. Have lunch at Kies Family Wines or another venue if not available. After Lunch we will visit Maggie Beer Farm and Seppeltsfield Winery to explore the grounds and visit the Jam Factory and Vasse Virgin. Take a walk around these Magnificent Grounds. Return to your hotel between 5-5:30pm

This tour is for your group of up to 4 people exclusively tailored to your taste and occasion. Your group will be traveling in style in a luxury Land Cruiser Prado 4WD vehicle and you will not be stuck on the bus with other people with different tastes and preferences. Our driver/tour guide can take you to any winery of your choice ( subject to availability) and organise your lunch in the winery or restaurant according to your personal taste. We regularly visit St Hugo, Kies, Rockfords, Charles Melton, Langmeil, David Franz, Tscharke Place, Hentley Farm, Seppeltsfield, Penfolds, Henschke, Two Hands, Torbreck, Gibson, Delluva etc. Also we would encourage you to taste wines from less known wineries that sell their wines in cellar door exclusively. We have great relationship with some winemakers and can arrange behind the scenes tour and tasting direct from the barrel ( subject to availability). All drivers are tour guides with an extensive experience and knowledge about the region.

Lifting off from the heli-pad in the Hoffnungsthal Valley, enjoy flying past Lyndoch before tracking along the western ridge of the Barossa to Historic Seppeltsfield. Here you will see vineyards contouring the rolling hills, palm tree studded roads. From there you will fly over Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery before veering along the eastern side of Nuriootpa, around the Wolf Blass winery, and then the view of large limestone quarry near the town of Angaston. A little further on you will get a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful horse racing studs in south Australia. As you descend into the valley towards Tanunda, your pilot will point out some of the historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda and Bethany. Beyond Tanunda is home of Jacobs Creek. From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall (the Barossa reservoir) before finally returning to the Hoffnungsthal Valley.
