Recently featured on Guy Fieri's show, we are located on a beautiful 7 acre oceanfront site, in an area that was has been for salt gathering by Hawaiians for centuries and now is part of the Hawaii Ocean Science & Technology Park. Our Chief Salt Maker brings tradition and modern technology together, she hand harvest the only salt in the world made from Deep Ocean Waters 2,200 feet below the surface. Your guide will give you a brief overview of the history of our area, the special place salt has in Hawaiian Culture, our salt making process and the centuries-long travel through deep sea currents our ultra pristine and mineral rich water took before arriving to us here. The Bonneville Salt Flats are a unique geological wonder seen in very few places around the world. We will travel there (1.5 hour drive one-way from Salt Lake City) in a 9 person Van. We'll share some amazing geological facts about the lake, it's history and current state. The expansive wilderness and drive to the Salt Flats is simply incredible. While the drive is quite far to the Salt Flats from Salt Lake City, we stop a couple times to help break it up. We drive by the southern edge of the Great Salt Lake and stop at the Visitors Center. We stop at the Tree of Life Sculpture and at 2 different points at the Flats themselves *The Salt Flats dry in the summer and typically wet in the winter. When wet, it's often calm, sending mirror like reflections of the mountains in the background. If it's wet we'll bring our gum boots and walk out into the flats. The historic Salt Mine is located about 10 km from Krakow and is on the first UNESCO World Heritage List (1978). The current mine was established ad the turn off 18 and 19 century (though mining history reaches antiquity here). The tourist route goes through the most interesting places in the mine that consists of 22 chambers which are connected by salt pathways of lenght about 3 km. Chambers are located at depth 64 to 135 meters underground.

It is a walk through 3 different salt pans, an enchanted place to discover how "wholemeal" salt is produced and collected. A visit to the salt museum, tasting of salt crystal and flavored salt blossom and a walk through the salt tanks will make this tour an unforgettable experience between nature, history and tradition.

On this unique, adventurous experience you will get a a birds eye view of The Great Salt Lake that puts into perspective the scale and beauty of this top Utah attraction. What would take a full day to see by car, we will squeeze into an action packed 40 minute flight. The GSL is an iconic landmark and you will see views that have been constantly evolving since it’s creation during the Bonneville flood over 14,500 years ago! This morning, we’ll visit the stunning Bonneville Salt Flats, often referred to as the American version of the "Mirror of the Sky" and a popular spot across social media. Formed from the remnants of ancient Lake Bonneville, this vast white landscape is the largest salt flat west of the Great Salt Lake. We’ll also stop by the Bonneville Salt Flats International Raceway, a legendary track known for world land speed records. You’ll have the chance to take photos with the iconic salt flats sign and soak in the surreal scenery. After the visit, we’ll head to Salt Lake City International Airport area hotels, concluding this memorable journey. Please note: For preservation reasons, entering the salt flats is not allowed.

Let yourself be involved in the pleasant discovery of the world of salt: come and explore the naturalistic landscape of the Nature Reserve of the Stagnone Islands in Marsala. You will be able to admire a landscape made up of pools, small canals, windmills and salt mounds: a landscape that represents one of the most unique and characteristic environments in the Mediterranean. You will be able to visit the mill where, thanks to a multimedia itinerary, you will be able to discover the ancient and precious art of sea salt production. You will continue your tour along a natural path unique in the world and, in the company of the guide, you can join the salt harvest and have a truly unique sensory experience. You will be shown the different types of salt and inside the mill you can also find "wholemeal salt" – strictly hand-picked – and "fleur de sel" flavored in purity.

A staff member from the company will meet you at the hotel, either in the morning or the afternoon, to take you on a tour through La Sabana de Bogota to the town of Zipaquira, which name means 'city of our Father' in the language of the Chibcha. Back in pre-Columbian times, salt around the area was the most important commodity and the ‘salt cakes’ were the only currency for trading. Over time, technology improved and the muiscas began to extract larger amounts of salt. As a result, an underground salt deposit was formed and it is where the Salt Cathedral was built, 180 meters below the surface. Inside, there is a chapel, “capilla de los mineros” built as a tribute to the Virgin “Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá” (Guasá means 'mine' in Chibcha). At the end, return to Bogotá

The mine, built in the 13th century, produced table salt continuously until 2007, as one of the world's oldest salt mines still in operation.  The mine's attractions include dozens of statues, three chapels and an entire cathedral that has been carved out of the rock salt by the miners. The Wieliczka mine is often referred to as "the Underground Salt Cathedral of Poland." In 1978 it was placed on the original UNESCO list of the World Heritage Sites.Today, the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine combines many centuries of tradition and modernity, the history of several hundred years and an underground metropolis with extensive infrastructure.
