Visit one of the most important archaeological areas of ancient Mayan culture in our comfortable units with excellent attention and relaxed atmosphere. Later we will meet the majestic center of Kabah or the chocolate museum. This will depend on what you prefer to visit and finally we will visit a small cenote, excellent to finish the day cool and relaxed. *The trip we offer is purely transportation, when arriving at destinations must pay for access. Sundays are free for locals, nationals and foreigners residing in Mexico.

We will start your tour early to avoid the crowds and the heat. In Uxmal, we will have a guided tour with one of your official guides, where you will learn more about the culture and architecture of this amazing city. Please note that the guided tour will only be available for groups of four or more people. Afterward, we will head to a nearby village for a typical lunch from the region. Following the meal, we will drive to a rural community where we will visit two of the most impressive cenotes in Yucatán. Here, you will have time to swim and marvel at these geological wonders.

On this excursion to Uxmal, we will travel from Merida to discover one of the most important Mayan sites in the world, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will arrive early to avoid the crowds and enjoy the site in all its splendor. During the guided tour, we will learn about the history and secrets of Uxmal while exploring the imposing Pyramid of the Magician, the Quadrangle of the Nuns, and the majestic Governor's Palace. Afterwards, you will have free time to capture photos and explore at your own pace before returning to Merida. A must-do experience!

Our departure from the meeting point will be 7 am, and our arrival to the archaeological site will be just when is recently open. Discover the history of Uxmal, the most important mayan city located in the only hilly area of the Yucatan Peninsula known in the mayan language as Puuc region, and whose main god was Chaac the god of the rain. The Puuc style stands out among other styles due to the unique and complicated carvings located in the upper parts of the mayan buildings. Walk and explore the temples with a professional licensed tourguide who will unveil the secrets of their success. In the cenote you will enjoy the crystal clear freshwater located in the mayan jungle, and manged by a small mayan community. Cenotes are unique ecosystems of the Yucatan Peninsula Finally we will enjoy the home made flavors of a delicious meal visiting a family with mayan heritage, they will prepare the meals upon our arrival at their home with fresh ingredients back to Merida between 2 and 3 pm

Our guide will take us back in history with a guided tour and then free time to keep exploring and taking photos Our next stop will be at the Kabah Ruins, our guide will teach us about the reasoning the Mayans had when they were building everything among other interesting facts. There is also free time and guided time! Now it's time to enjoy a 3 course meal at a Mexican restaurant! It's time to move on to the last stop To finish the adventure, we'll visit an Artisanal Mayan Chocolate Factory, here authentic mayan people will teach us the ways to create chocolate.
