Travel to the land of Brunello, passing along one of Tuscany’s most beautiful panoramic routes, skirting the city of Siena. The first stop is in a family-run winery in the heart of Montalcino. Here, learn about different wines and try some glasses of good Brunello. Enjoy a visit to the historical town of Montalcino and then discover another family-run winery with a delicious abundant multi-course Tuscan lunch and taste Brunello DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC. This is a great wine tour to explore the southern part of Tuscany.

Today we will drive you to the famous Orcia Valley, one of the most beautiful area in Tuscany. Here we will visit 3 stunning medieval towns: Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino. A famous area for Wines and Food (Brunello di Montalcino wine, Pecorino Cheese from Pienza, Nobile di Montepulciano wine) We will visit the 3 towns and you will have free time to explore them own your own, shopping in the local shops and enjoying great food! The Val d ‘Orcia: a beautiful area in southern Tuscany, declared Unesco world heritage thanks to its incredible landscapes that make this area one of the most beautiful of all Tuscany.

In this private tour, you will travel from Florence to the historic town of Montepulciano, sampling its atmosphere and wine before moving on to the Tuscan hill town of Montalcino. Afterwards, you will be driven back to Florence via the panoramic Cassia Road that travels through the beautiful Tuscan countryside. From there you will be driven to Montepulciano where you will have time to enjoy the town before traveling onwards to Montalcino, departing at around 12 noon. Montepulciano to Montalcino. The first stop on this section of the trip will be a wine farm, where you’ll enjoy the farm’s own wines. Montalcino. Then it is  to the medieval hill town of Montalcino. You will be able to walk through its charming city centre and see its medieval fortress – guided by your tour leader.Return to your hotel/accomodation You will arrive back in Florence city centre at approximately 6pm.

The Brunello Organic and Biodynamic Wine Tour is a full day (8/9 hours) trip to Montalcino including a visit with tastings and Tuscan lunch to two small family run wineries. A walk in the mediaval town of Montalcino for shopping, pictures and a bit of art is also included. The tour is for individual and small groups, NOT for big groups. Perfect if you love small wineries, working with organic or biodynamic approach and making "terroir" wines.
