Experience a night dedicated to music, dancing, and tasty local food during this Cretan folklore night in Karouzana, a traditional village near Heraklion. Sip on wine and taste local products such as cheese, olive oil, and meat during a buffet meal. Reaching the ancient village after pickup, walk through this magnificent place and experience the locals’ hospitality. At dusk, enjoy a traditional feast. Taste delicious dishes with cheese, virgin olive oil, meat, and other products of Cretan soil. Get treated with the wine, listen to the sound of the Cretan Lyra (Greek musical instrument), and take delight in looking at the dancers, dressed in their traditional costumes performing Cretan and Greek folk dances. Have a good time while still feeling safe: eating and drinking will be individual and sterile as required by law and waiters will wear masks and gloves. The seats and the tables will also have the appropriate spacing in accordance with legal requirements.<

When History meets art and craft. This excursion is for those who want to discover Crete from Rethymnon without a long way driving in bus. We start from the most important monastery of Crete: The Historical Monastery of Arkadi. After that, we will visit the Museum of Ancient Eleftherna with its historical findings from Homer’s era. Afterward, you will enjoy a guided tour to the pottery workshop “TSIKALARIO", where Mrs Helen will show us the art of pottery. Right after, in a 2 km distance only, you will visit Margarites village where you will have free time for a lunch or a walk. After that, we will visit Melidoni Vilage and explore Melidoni cave at an altitude of 220 meters. You will discover an amazing cave filled full with stalactites and stalagmites, but also full of History. At the end of the tour we will visit a traditional olive oil mill, where you’ll have free time to learn about olive oil production and enjoy a tasting of premium Cretan olive oil.

An event based on Olive Oil, the elixir of life.The production of olive oil on this island goes back to 3500 BC, during the Minoan period. Join a tour with all of Crete's most iconic products. All the areas that you will visit are famous for their vineyards, the olive groves, and their wine production since the Minoan era. Even today they are considered the largest areas in Greece for cultivating grapes and high-quality olive oil. Stop at a local olive mill and take a tour of the olive grove and after the olive mill where you can taste fresh olive oil. The second stop is a family-owned winery that uses organic methods for cultivating. You will get a tour around the vineyards and the winery and taste 5 wines. The next stop is a unique distillery with an ancient wine press. Raki is the most famous Cretan spirit. Take a tour of the distillery and then enjoy a traditional lunch at a local tavern. Before finishing off the tour with a visit to a pottery studio located in a traditional village that is famous for its pottery. *The pottery lab is not available on Sundays

This 4-hour small group E-bike tour gives you the opportunity to explore the small traditional villages and enjoy the idyllic Cretan countryside. Enjoy a break for regeneration at a traditional village. Taste some local sweets and a Greek coffee (or a soft drink). On a high-end Cube electric mountain bike, you’ll feel energized as you cycle through picturesque villages, olive groves, canyons, caves, and pastures. A superb evening for all the family! While you are entertained with the sounds of the bouzouki and lyra, you will be served with an original Cretan dinner with unlimited house wine. Event takes place in Ano Karousanos village. Guests will be treated to a performance of traditional Greek dances accompanied by live music. You will also be invited to join in and have a chance to learn a few steps of traditional dances, turn yourself into a Zorbas for a night and keep this wonderful night in your memory forever. It’s the best way to celebrate Greek Style. In a mountain village we meet friendly Cretan folk who invite us to taste a glass of the local Cretan firewater “ Raki “. A stroll around the lovely village will allow you to catch a glimp of the rural life of a Cretan village and, at the same time, put you in the mood for the evening ahead. Once we get to the taverna, where the wine flows free and unlimited, you will enjoy a tasty Cretan meal accompanied by the melodies if the Lyra and the Bouzouki. You will see the many the many different traditional costumes and witness the grace of the Cretan dancers performing a variety of Cretan and Greek folklore dances. It might sound unbelievable , but this is really your chance to watch “Zorba the Greek” dancing on the top of a wineglass, on top of a bottle. As you get in the mood why not join in and learn a few of the Greek steps? By the end of the evening you’ll think you are as good as “Zorba”.

A Greek evening show with late start to give time to have diner in the hotel. A full dancing program will be presented as well as participation of clients, Variation of local wines and fruits.

Come with me to travel back to the time, when Cretan people used to make their own Traditional Homemade Cretan Soap, using only Extra Virgin Olive Oil! Together we can create our own traditional soaps, using the recipe my grandmother taught me, as she also learned it from her mother. Using my knowledge as a biochemist, we can develop these formulations to produce a product, based on your needs! The whole procedure is completely safe even for young children and no specific knowledge is required on the subject. On the contrary, you will find it particularly educative and interesting! Come with me and I will prove to you that you can prepare the purest and healthiest cleaning product, with your own hands. We will use only Extra Virgin Cretan Olive Oil, produced by my family, and totally safe ingredients. At the end you will take your soaps you will have made with your own hands, that will be ready the next day, as a souvenir to remember this unique experience as you take your shower!

In this route we will explore the Central side of Crete following the paths of Cretan history where we will get to know the traditional way of life and learn everything about the production of the famous Cretan olive oil as well as Cretan Wines. We will visit the shepherd's house participating in the cheese production process and finally we will enjoy an amazing meal in a traditional tavern making ourselves Cretan sweets.

Our day begins at the central meeting points in the city of Chania. After approximately one hour of driving through the beautiful landscapes of the Cretan countryside, we will arrive at Margarites, a picturesque and traditional village well-known throughout Greece for its long-standing pottery tradition. Next, we’ll head to the famous Arkadi Monastery, one of Crete’s most important historical and religious landmarks. There, we will tour the monastery grounds, learn about its moving and heroic Our trip continues to the city of Rethymno, where we will have approximately three hours of free time. You can explore the well-preserved historic center, wander through Venetian alleyways, visit the Fortezza fortress, or simply relax and enjoy a coffee or meal at one of the many traditional or modern cafes and tavernas by the Venetian harbor. After a day full of rich experiences, we will begin our return journey, carrying with us unforgettable memories of Cretan history.

Seasonal greens, herbs, fruits, wild greens, fresh milk, fresh meat and of course the gold of Cretan land, the olive oil. With these ingredients, we are preparing the dishes that are known from our grandmothers and are part of the Cretans daily diet. We wish to give to friends of Crete, the experience of our true life and true traditional food, far from tourist attractions!!! The menu can be modified for our vegetarian guests. During the lesson, we will give you useful information regarding the Cretan diet. At the end of the lesson, we will make a gastronomic feast where you will enjoy all the dishes we have prepared together.
