The Snowline Trek starts from Mcleodganj in Dharamshala and passes through mixed forests of deodar, oak and rhododendron the popular camping ground of Triund and Laka Glacier. McLeod ganj to Snow Line trek via Triund is a low-moderate difficulty trek. Snowline trek follows one of the more established trails used by the Gaddi shepherds enroot their summer grazing pastures in the upper Raavi Valley and Lauhal. Whatever difficulty this trek throws your way, the spectacular views more than compensate for it. To the south there are mesmerizing views of the Indian plains, to the north is the Moon peak and the snow capped Dhauladhar Mountains.

This trek will start at the height of approximately 1450 MASL with a walk through the tea plantations for about 30 to 40 minutes. On reaching the summit, the trek will continue for a couple of hours on the ridge through stunningly beautiful grasslands with rocky mountain slope on one side and the tea plantations on the other with interspersed patches of Shola forest. On a clear day, we can see Anaimudi “The highest peak in South India”. We will also pass through a private coffee and cardamom plantation in the Shola Forest where there is a high chance to spot few of our endemic birds. We will have refreshments/picnic lunch at a suitable place during the trek. Similar to the start, the trek will finish with a walk through a tea plantation to meet our cab waiting to transfer us back to the hotel or to visit other destinations as per the program. Highest point of this trek will be about 1950 meters MASL approx.

Triund is the prime destination that echoes in each mind when someone talks about Dharamshala. Triund is situated at the foot of Dauladhar Ranges at a height of 2,828 M. Triund is a large land of green grass. One can see the mighty Dhauladhar range. The ETNA TREKKING excursion includes trekking paths inside the Etna Park. The AltaQuota Trek excursion is a tour that allows you to experience the emotion of walking literally surrounded by surreal views. The first part of the tour takes place by cable car, from the Sapienza refuge (1960 m) to the arrival station of the Etna cable car (2510 m), from here we will proceed on a trek to visit Pian del Lago, a false volcanic sand that creates a surreal lunar landscape, you will then climb the crater of the 2001 eruption, from where you can admire the nearby summit craters and the coast. Once you reach the lava fronts of the latest eruptions (2018) you will reach a very panoramic area over the famous Valle del Bove, a vast depression generated by the collapse of an ancient volcanic building. The maximum altitude reached with this tour is 2750 meters. LANGUAGE: It is possible to indicate your preference for the language of the tour between Italian and English. In case of unavailability of your language, the excursion will be carried out in English or Italian.

The Chicamocha Canyon is the perfect place to do hiking since you will have stunning views onto the landscape during the entire hike. The hike usually starts in a sector of the canyon called “La Mojarra”. At the beginning of the hike you will be at the edge of the canyon at a height of about 1500 meters above sea level and 1000 meters above the canyon river. The hike, which is included in this day trip, ends in Los Santos, a town with a beautiful central park located at the edge of the canyon. Starting a steep hike down the canyon for about 300 meters in altitude you will gradually go up along the canyon in order to arrive at Los Santos. The advantage of this hike is that you will not have to stand the heat at the bottom of the canyon since you won´t go down all the way to the river. The total hike takes you about 2 to 5 hours depending on your speed and on the trail you take.
