Turtle Nesting Tour

Rated 4 Stars, based on 12 Reviews.
Seeing the turtles lay their eggs is a unique experience and when it comes to the arrival it is even more because there are literally so many turtles that you can barely walk. Arrivals commonly occur at Ostional beach only 3 days a month based on tides and phase of the moon, however, the turtles themselves are the ones that decide, so the dates are unpredictable.
Turtles always lay their eggs on the same beach, which is also the same where they were born, which makes the experience even more special.
Depending on the time the guides, who will do everything possible to see turtles, will take them in case of arrival to the Ostional refuge or a fairly popular option is the Corozalito refuge where there are no arrivals, but you have good opportunities to see turtles in less quantity and even newborns.
