Uxmal located 80 km. from Merida. It is said to be a little older than Chichen Itza and was built around the 4th century, but it has not been restored and remains as it was.
The most impressive structure, with a unique elliptical shape and a height of more than 35 meters, is La Casa del Adivino; According to an ancient legend, this pyramid was built by a dwarf in just one night.
