After taking some stunning pictures of the cellar and vineyards you will depart to reach the second winery where you will have more tastings and compare the aromas of the wines. Here, the winemaker will welcome you telling the story of the family-run business and its value for the territory. Finally, you’ll understand why Verona is the wine capital of Italy: an incredible territory made of small and high quality winemakers who produce an amazing product with passion.

Join an unforgettable tour in our family Winery with the winemaker! We are a Winery boutique in the heart of Valpolicella and we organize activities to share our passion for Valpolicella and Amarone wines with our guests (we offer it directly, without intermediaries or tour operator). We’ll start with a walk in the vineyard, telling you the family history about the winery and the estates. You’ll learn how to dry Amarone grapes in the traditional drying room, a process called Appassimento. You'll visit our rural house and the cellar from the 17th century used for winemaking and refinement. At the conclusion, the tasting of a selection of our fine wines Valpolicella, RIPASSO and the great AMARONE, learning how to evaluate them by sight, smell and taste. You’ll also enjoy our organic EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, local cheeses called Monte Veronese and Soppressa Valpolicella (a kind of salami). We’ll be waiting for you on our amazing terrace with a stunning view of the Valpolicella!

An immersive wine and art experience in the unique Amarone Venetian Villa and Chateau built between the 1500 and 1700’s at the center of Valpolicella’s history. You will taste the award-winning wines of brothers Giovanni and Guglielmo Bertani, whose family is among the founders of the wine region. Your guide will take you through the splendid neoclassical architecture, frescoed rooms, romantic gardens and the ancient vineyards of the Clos. The visit will continue on to the natural grape drying rooms, the original vinification area of the Amarone Classico Riserva, and down to the monumental ageing cellars with barrels that are over two hundred years old. Each tour will include a seated wine tasting.

Our vineyards, averaging 30 to 50 years old, are cultivated using the traditional Pergola Veronese and Guyot (Filare Speronato) methods. Every step of our winemaking process is done with care and dedication, ensuring that all vineyard operations are carried out manually, from pruning to natural fertilization, with patience and deep respect for nature. The experience includes a guided tour of the vineyards and cellar, where you will discover the winemaking process from vine to bottle. To complete the journey, enjoy a tasting of 3 or 5 carefully selected wines, each reflecting the unique character and tradition of Valpolicella.

We begin our tour with a relaxing walk through our vineyards in the ancient “brolo” or garden of Palazzo Montanari. This is where the fruits for the production of our four classic Valpolicella wines and extra virgin olive oil are grown. After our walk through the vineyards we will visit the jewel of the property, the villa of Montanari, one of the oldest villa’s in Valpolicella. It’s a journey of history and territories throughout the centuries. Get ready for a wine tasting in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica at Castrum Wine Relais, located on the top of the most scenic hill in the village of Castelrotto. Casa Fraccaroli, one of the oldest houses in the area, built in 1790 and located in Castelrotto Square, consists of a Venetian Villa with an ancient cellar in the basement, a rustic, a large olive grove and a boutique cellar that produces classic wines from Valpolicella. A villa passed down from generation to generation, which has always remained in the family, opens its doors for you to take a day tour of the cellar and barrique cellar, to learn about the evolution and winemaking processes used by Borghetti Giampiero, the current owner of the entire structure.

You will find yourself in a medieval court, with very ancient origins: you will be able to see a tower from that era, the only one left of a defensive fortress that has no equal. The courtyard is surrounded by greenery, and some rooms are still original, such as the internal tasting room with fireplace and antique sink. We will take you to visit the vineyards and the cellar, to tell you how we produce wine in a sustainable way; we will then go to the tasting area where you will taste a selection of 4 red wines with a strong character
