We also see plenty of whale sharks (from May to October), false killer whales, and occasional sightings of humpback whales and orcas. On rare occasions, we can see Arabian and blue whales. If you are afraid of participating in balloon tours or just want to take photos, you can go to the locations where you can take the best photos of the balloons with this tour. This tour, which follows the balloons from takeoff to landing, will take approximately 2 hours. First of all, you will go to the take-off area of ​​the balloons and witness the preparation process. All the balloons will line up like fireflies burning on the ground. While all the Balloons are taking off, you will set off towards the valley where the balloons are flying. When they are all in the air, you will be able to take photos as you wish. The driver will take you to panoramic spots where you can catch great views. When the balloons land, we will drop you back to your hotel. When you book this tour, our reservation team will tell you the pickup time. We will pick you up from your hotel 30 minutes before the sunrise time, which changes according to the season.

Playa Minas constitutes one the most important nesting sites in Costa Rica. Large numbers of turtles arrive from October until May and usually at night. For this tour you will be picked up at the hotel and taken to Playa Las Minas where turtles are nesting. You will be able to see the black turtles and if you are lucky there will also be some of the very rare leatherback turtles. The beautiful scene of the stars, the moon and the ocean makes the perfect set-up for this incredible experience with nature. In addition the guides will provide infra red light, so that you will be able to clearly see the turtles

Set sail with the Hong Kong DolphinWatch team on this wonderful adventure to find the “pinkies”, the Chinese pink dolphins which are native in Hong Kong waters. The dolphins are located in North Lantau, where the South China Sea and Pearl river merge, making ideal feeding conditions for the small pod we have remaining. Due the large-scale development including the Hong Kong International Airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge over the last thirty years, plus continued water contamination, the numbers of these beautiful creatures have been steadily decreasing. This experience is also of ecological importance, because along with sharing our love for these magnificent creatures and raising awareness to their situation, the trip supports the ongoing surveillance and conditions to report back to local researchers, in the hope that we can continue to protect their habitat.
