Our tour takes place entirely on the Esco Feed Mill property, where many scenes from The Walking Dead were shot. Choose a weapon from our well-stocked armory and prepare to set out on foot for a 1/3 of a mile, 45 minute walking excursion on slightly uneven terrain. We tour rain or shine.

The Quiet Man Film Locations Walking Tour is a must for fans of the John Wayne classic, The Quiet Man. The guided tour brings visitors to the original film locations including Inisfree, Castletown, the Pat Cohan's Bar, the Dying Man's House, the Reverend Playfair's House, the fight scenes, the courting scenes and the "patty fingers in the holy water" scenes. Visitors hear: what happened when Hollywood invaded the sleepy village of Cong in 1951; what the film stars were like; how they interacted with the locals; and how the locals became intimately involved in the making of the movie. The Tomàs Mallol Cinema-Collection Museum is a permanent, non-profit institution, open to the public as a space for scientific, cultural and recreational participation of citizens, and at the service of society and its development. Its origin is found in the acquisition of the Tomás Mallol Collection of cinematographic and pre-cinematographic objects by the City of Girona on January 28, 1994. Its mission is to favor the understanding and knowledge of the history of the moving image and of the cinema through the conservation, investigation, interpretation and exhibition of various collections, whose objects explain how the images were represented before the cinema and what was the technical process that led to the invention of the cinematograph in 1895.
