Visit local art galleries and souvenir stores, and have lunch in one of many seafood restaurants. Then we will take you back to your hotel. Should you decide to stay there longer, you can return to the city by Ferry.

An invitation to an artistic time travel discovering the secrets of wood carving. The woodcarving workshop takes place in the gallery of Michael Arvanitis where he exhibits his works. The gallery is a traditional cave building in the picturesque village of Megalochori. In this class, Michalis Arvanitis will help you become familiar with how tools are used to give shape and form to wood and he will teach you how to carve.

In this hands-on workshop participants are introduced to some of the basic concepts behind modeling objects in wood. You will become acquainted with the necessary tools and learn basic carving techniques. Under the watchful eye of an instructor, each person will carve a simple object. All tools and materials are provided.

Pryography is an art technique that involves using high temperatures to 'draw' designs and patterns in to wood, and also add shading and texture to the working surface. In this Inspired Art Studio class, participants will learn the basics of this art form while creating 4 different wood art pieces, using Colorado Wildlife and the Rocky Mountain Landscape as inspiration. These pieces will then be assembled into a wall hanging or mobile art piece that can be hung in the creators home to as a souvenir of their time spent in the Colorado Rockies.

The Fortress Louisbourg is a living ,working town from the 17th century. They have a bakery, eatery, blacksmith shop, stables and gardens. There is also a native display, as the french befriended the native people with trade and knowledge for furs and food.
