Black Rock Trip Overview
The Atlantic Coast Train Line: Hike & Bike: This tour takes in part of the Barbados Railway train line that existed between Bridgetown and Belleplaine, St. Andrew, in the late 1800s. The hike portion of the tour, 6 km total along the rugged East coast of the island, begins from the sleepy fishing village of Tent Bay and is characterized by the stunning scenery of the Scotland District that is so wonderfully different than any other part of Barbados. The hike ends at Bath Beach where we begin our e-bike excursion that takes you along hilly double track through the picturesque Conset Cutting, along the coastal cliffs of Fortesque and eventually to a scenic overlook with an incredible view of Culpepper Island. The ride finishes back at Bath Beach with legendary rum punches and a dip in the sea.
